Primary Objectives of Wellness Fair To create a wellness fair incorporating the medical profession schools on the UMKC Health Sciences campus. Offer free screening exams & education on a variety of health topics to an underserved community in the greater KC area & connect them to needed community services. Provide students with an opportunity to work on an interprofessional team of students, faculty, & community volunteers.

Who We Served Over 1,100 patients in 2009 & 2010 64 unique zip codes in 2010, 58 in 2009 50% who attended had no insurance 92.2% 2% of surveyed patients t reported services were very helpful

What We Thought 92.9% felt services provided impacted the care of patients 83.9% were very satisfied/satisfied with interprofessional environment 96.3% would recommend participating in the future
