The Nexus2G GPRS / GSM CCTV Camera Our GSM Camera is a GSM/GPRS enabled 2 Mega pixel colour Camera that can be located anywhere in the world with GSM coverage to deliver full colour UXGA JPEG images on request or on activation of external events. The pictures can be requested manually by dialup from a PC using a standard modem or by sending a command to the Camera to take a picture by SMS or email. The Camera also has caller ID so it can be programmed to recognise the caller and automatically send an image by FTP, email, HTTP POST to a web server or directly to a custom server. In- Equipped with extensive I/O capability the Camera will also allow remote reading of external sensors and automatically take pictures on detection of sensor change, it can be programmed to respond automatically by activation of its onboard output relay to provide an immediate onsite time critical response while also informing the programmable recipients of the nature of the event. These input events can be triggered by almost any device, be it a PIR, a thermometer, door contacts, the list is endless, then this reported via SMS, email or web. One of the main benefits of this Camera is its low power consumption. At less than 0.08W it can be operated from a 12V lead acid battery and trickle charged by solar panels for year-round uninterrupted service. As a fallback safety feature, the Camera also monitors its power Supply and alert the owner when the battery or 12v PSU is failing giving the owner plenty of time to replace it. This then provides an early warning of low power condition via SMS or email allowing service personnel sufficient time to provide on-site maintenance if required. This is ideal for building sites where local power isn t available or rural areas that don t have mains electricity. One of the Cameras other features is its Time Lapse or Schedule mode. This allows the Camera to be programmed to automatically photograph and deliver an image between two specified times at a certain frequency, for example every 30 minutes, between the hours of 8am and 6pm. This feature is used extensively for promotional videos featuring time lapse style photography for building projects and also for environmental monitoring to give a chronological record of how a geological feature is evolving, such as for monitoring water levels on streams, rivers and culverts. The Camera also has a DVR capability using removable micro SD cards. The recording process can be activated remotely or on-site by activating one of the inputs. E.g. With a 1GB memory card the Camera can store up to 60,000 colour JPEG images of 320x240. MAIN FEATURES Low power GSM 2 megapixel colour Camera Integrated Bluetooth for configuration and Camera expansion Removable micro SD storage for up to 60,000 colour images Quad band 850/900/1800/1900 GSM GPRS class 10 Power consumption when idle less than 0.08W, 4W during transmission of images 12V lead acid battery trickle charged by solar panels for year-round uninterrupted service (optional) Multiple Bluetooth Cameras can be added to the network to form a piconet with the master GSM Camera relaying photographs from the slave Bluetooth Cameras. With each Camera having a range from 100M to 1000M this piconet could cover a large area with independent but cooperating Cameras. Hardware Features Low power 2.2 mega pixel wireless rapid deployment Camera using GSM mobile network. Built-in Class 1 Bluetooth range with a range up to 100 metres or 1000 metres (option) Can be expanded with up to 8 Bluetooth slave Cameras. Removable micro SD storage for up to 60,000 colour images. Power input from 9V to 25V, 12V nominal.
This is one of our solar powered rapid deployment kits, featuring a Camera, 20 Watt solar panel, 18Ah battery, PIR detector, and an inbuilt siren to scare away any intruders upon activation. These images demonstrate the digital zoom facility of the Camera, with the full wide angle image, showing the full vehicle, then fully zoomed in view, clearly displaying the vehicles number plate. These images show the wide angle coverage from the Camera. These images show the high quality of the image, allowing the monitoring station to easily spot a ladder in position, or a person on the roof. These images show the high quality of the image for identification purposes. These images show the low light image from the Camera, allowing you to easily monitor a large area, with no additional lighting sources.

Our Software The back bone of The Camera is its programming software. We have the advantage of designing the Camera entirely inhouse, from board component level, into the hardware of the Camera and right through into the software and the I/O capabilities of the Camera, and all of this is 100% UK designed, manufactured and supported. Using a Bluetooth dongle, the Camera is easily programmed with its GPRS network settings to allow the Camera to communicate on its designated network, then the transmission method is programmed in, be it email, MMS, or FTP. The following screen captures show the basic settings windows, and their easy and intuitive layout. But if some of the terminology used baffles you, don t panic, as we offer full support and a pre-programming service, removing all of the guesswork for you, this therefore ensures you and your client s full continuity of service and outward professionalism at all times.
Pricing We offer a very simple and fair pricing structure. Each unit costs just 550.00(GBP) (This includes all international orders) Then the cost of Postage and packing is added to this, which for UK orders is typically 15.00 per Camera. Pre-Programming To remove any issues that you may come across in the programming of the Camera, we can also provide you with a PAYG UK SIM Card, topped up with at least 5.00 of Credit, and fully program the Camera to this SIM, to your own personalised settings. 80.00 (GBP) Please note: We require full payment via BACS before shipment of order. We do not offer credit on our orders under any circumstances.
