SAP CRM on SAP HANA Pre-requisites You need your own Amazon AWS account : http://aws.amazon.com You will need to copy down the Security Credentials from your Amazon AWS account (security credentials are defined during AWS account creation) 4
SAP CRM on SAP HANA Step 1 Navigate to SAP HANA Marketplace : http://try.saphana.com/crm Click on 30-Day FREE Trial 5
Step 2 You will be presented with the Log On screen to the SAP Cloud Appliance Library. In case you do not have a user yet, you can use the Register Now option to setup a new user. 6
Step 3 After you entered your user credentials and logged on you will be presented with the Terms and Conditions. Please scroll down, to read and get accept button active. Click I Accept. 7
Step 4 In the SAP Cloud Appliance Library you will be asked to provide your Security Credentials from your Amazon AWS Account You can then also define the password for the Administrator account for the systems Click on Create Instance after you provided those details. Or choose skip, if you want to create later the instance manually in CAL (see elearning) 8
Step 5 You should now be directed to the tab Instances for your new System. The system have been created for you in your AWS account (see next slide for the timing of your systems activation) At this step the system is being activated and should be available after 30 min 9
Step 6 After approximately 30 minutes your system is ready for logon You can click on the systems line item to receive the details (next slide). 10
Step 7 On the details page you can receive the IP address of your created instance (bottom left) In the Technical Set Up elearning it is shown how to map this IP Address to the URL of your SAP CRM on SAP HANA system 11
Step 8 On the overview page you can also start, stop, suspend and terminate the system It is recommended to use these commands instead of directly using the AWS Console to ensure the configurations (for example, IP Numbers) are intact 12
Step 9 Please add the ports for accessing CRM Web-UI and HANA DB according to the elearning Technical Set Up - Create an Instance in the Cloud Application Library Then also follow the steps shown in the elearning Technical Set Up - Connect your Desktop to SAP CRM on SAP HANA.. 13
