Dear Prospective St. Timothy Catholic School Family, Thank you for your interest in St. Timothy Catholic School! We hope that you will find your visit here with us today enlightening and a positive step towards finalizing your enrollment decision. Should you have any questions during your time on campus, you are welcome to speak with our office staff or the principal. St. Timothy Catholic School is committed to promoting Roman Catholic values and academic excellence. We adhere to the Diocesan curriculum, including, Atrium, Spanish, Computers, Music, Physical Education & Health, and Art for all students. Students in grades 1-8 take responsibility for preparing and ministering at the school Mass. The parish clergy are actively involved in the school, provide weekly Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and fully support the mission of the school. Enrollment at our school is primarily for students whose needs can be met in a traditional classroom setting. Students entering all grades are assessed to determine their academic achievement and placement at St. Timothy Catholic School. The achievement of the students as measured each year via the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS) and teacher-designated assessments is average to above average. One of the most heartening aspects of our school is the overwhelming number of parent volunteers who contribute to the overall education program. This is by way of their regular presence on campus, their participation in school sponsored activities, and their generous support and sharing of resources. We have a wonderful family-oriented community here and offer many opportunities to bring you together as no other school can! We hope that you enjoy your time here at St. Timothy Catholic School and we look forward to welcoming your family into our community of families! In Christ s Love, Fr. Charlie Goraieb, Pastor Mrs. Maureen Vick, Principal
