The social work department does not expect that students will have mastered all competencies by the end of their first semester of senior field experience SW450. As such, please use the following benchmarks as a guide to the expected average progress across the academic year based upon the 1-4 scale. Students ability to demonstrate the practice behaviors for each of the competencies serves as the signature training for our program.
