Haga clic para modificar el estilo de título EUPAN is an informal network of the Directors General responsible for Public Administration in the Member States of the EU, the European Commission and observer countries for the cooperation and the exchange of knowledge in the scope of the Public Administration. The informal structure of the Network is steered by the Ministers responsible for Public Administration. EUPAN is organised on three levels: - Political: Ministers and the EU Commissioner responsible for Public Administration (informal meetings); - Management: Directors-General ; - Technical: Working-Groups. 4

Innovative Haga clic Public para Services modificar Group el (IPSG) estilo de título Mission: to contribute to the improvement of the quality and efficiency of the European public services by developing tools and sharing good practices between Member States. One of the most important IPSG products is the Common Assessment Framework (CAF), a TQM tool which is inspired by the major TQM in general, and by the Excellence Model of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) in particular. It is especially designed for public-sector organisations, taking into account their characteristics. 6

Subsequently, the results will be presented to enable further IPSG activities on the most suitable framework to be developed. What s Haga on: Next clic steps para for modificar sustainability el estilo de título del measurement patrón in PA EUPAN DG: Highly appreciated the study, agreed on the introduction of the concept of sustainability in the PA, and encouraged next Presidencies to develop further tools, as a set of indicators for the management and the measurement of sustainability. CAF expert Group: Discussion on the issue of sustainability (incl.headlines of the study) to take it into account in the review of the CAF, to be published in 2012. Belgian Presidency of EUPAN: New project PERF the performance of governance aiming to study concrete performance indicators for governance in the EUPAN-network, seeking to build an inventory of indicators on a number of governance issues (building blocks). The project is so far being drafted, but it is foreseen to introduce sustainability as a cross-cutting matter, and to include sustainability related indicators in the analytical table to be issued. 17
