Sea Port Security and Surveillance Case Study Italy
Application Real time monitoring and surveillance of the docking harbor at the port of Ancona located on the Center East Cost in Italy to ensure asset protection. During the last 20 years commercial and passenger flow of traffic has increased substantially. At the moment the flow of passenger through the port is about 1,5 million passengers / year. The peak passenger flow is during the summer particularly when it comes to goods bound for Greece, Croatia, Albania and Turkey. Also commercial traffic flow has recently increased, including commercial trucks, cointainers, etc. Nowadays Ancona Sea Port is recognized as a Greek way to Europe.
