witech Server Not Found - NO GREEN ICON Displayed in System Tray DESCRIPTION: The witech Server is programmed to start when the PC boots. The witech Server utilizes two independent processes: the witech Server.exe and the witech Monitor.exe. These processes require a properly installed Java 1.6 update 21 or higher to properly launch. If the Java installed on the local PC is out of date, incorrectly installed, or corrupted, the witech Server processes cannot launch. When the witech Server does not start, the user will see witech Server NOT found message in the witech Diagnostic Application. Follow the directions listed in the message and check for the witech Server indicator icon in the system tray located on the lower right-hand corner. 1 / 6

-witech Server Processes 1. Open the witech Server by navigating to All Programs > witech > witech Server 2. Open Task Manager by right-clicking on the Start bar, or pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del and selecting it from the menu. Go to the Processes tab, and click on the "Image Name" heading to alphabetize the list. Confirm that witech_monitor.exe and witech_server.exe are running as shown below. 2.
