ABOUT DAWN Dawn is a self-taught artist with Midwestern sensibilities and a sophisticated eye for style. Dawn is founder of Notre Monde, the elegant furniture and accessory studio, established more than 15 years ago. While designing distinctive furniture, lighting and home accessories, she enlivens traditional techniques with fresh ideas of global origin. She draws her inspiration not only from her extensive travels all over the world, but also from her experience in decorating homes in Europe before settling in North Carolina. Inspired by such things around her-whether it s a song, Book, fashion, nature, texture on a painting, or the ones she loves. She tries to select only the things that speak directly to her so her work is authentic. The Notre Monde brand is a direct expression of the Dawn s cheerful, on going immersion into various cultures-with respect for ways in which other communities embrace the good life. Enjoy!

Our printing and hand-finishing techniques on wood, mirror and glass contribute to the unique quality of each piece. As the company grew, we had to think of fresh and innovative ways to produce our product to meet demand. In 2013, Notre Monde partnered with Philippe Delaisse and Benoît Loos (Ethnicraft) to expand throughout the global marketplace. Our production facility in Indonesia is dedicated to maintain the high quality and craftsmanship that is the Notre Monde brand.
