This tool allows administrators to establish multiple storage offerings based upon service levels and storage attributes. These offerings can then be made available to users based upon their needs. Storage Provisioner minimizes the repetitive and time-consuming steps involved in manual storage provisioning, thus enabling administrators to focus on higher-level tasks. Requests for additional storage can be satisfied immediately, eliminating costly delays associated with having to manually reconfigure existing arrays. By providing a current and accurate view of available storage, HP's provisioner eliminates the potential for over purchasing and over-allocation of valuable storage resources. Eliminating repetitive manual processes decreases the potential for errors and associated down time. Licenses are sold for 1 TB of managed storage, 5 TB of managed storage, 10 TB of managed storage and 50 TB of managed storage.
