1 General Introduction The Electronic Data Interchange is business-process-driven and supports the logistic business process with the order, planning, distribution and payment cycle. The process is supported by many EDI messages. This guideline is specifically designed to support our suppliers using the neapco subset of the VDA 4905 standard message. 2 Applicability The information contained in this document applies solely to Neapco Europe GmbH (Dueren plant) and (Poland plant). If you are also in a business relationship with a Neapco plant outside of Europe, please ask your local contact in these plants for EDI Specifications. 3 Basic information of the Weekly Planning Release VDA 4905 is a message, which is sent from a party who is planning the use or consumption of products to a party who has to plan for the supply of the products. The message gives the requirements regarding details for medium to long term scheduling of products. The schedule is used to determine raw and fabrication material authorization. This is based on the terms and conditions defined in a purchase order or contract. 3.1 Release Number Release Numbers will be be created the system with no specific pattern being applied. As defined in the VDA Standard, field 512/06 will carry the number of the last release that was transmitted. 3.2 Vendor code All suppliers that have been in business with neapco prior to March 3 rd, 2008 will keep their assigned Vendor Code. This is the code know as GSDB-Code at Visteon. It is made up of a four digit base, plus a fifth digit which offers an opportunity to for example distinguish different vendor addresses. All suppliers that begin a business relationship with neapco after March 3 rd, 2008 will receive a Vendor Code that is independent from the Visteon-assigned GSDB Code. Please contact your neapco Purchasing Agent to receive this code. May 2011 Page 3 of 14 VDA4905_V1-1.pdf

3.3 Part number Part numbers will be made up of variable length with a maximum length of 18 characters. Starting at March 3 rd 2008, Neapco part numbers will be different from the ones used at Visteon! You will receive details on the part numbers within a different communication. Please enter the part number on the advice notes and in the advanced shipping note in the same structure as printed and transmitted on the releases of the destination plant. 3.4 The receiving plant / Customer Plant Code All neapco plants are identified by a 2-digit plant-code. The table below shows the plant codes used in EDI messages for the Dueren and Poland plants. These codes remain unchanged from the Visteon codes for the same plants. Plant Code 5-digit Plant Code 2-digit Plant Name 0098A 4A DUEREN CYUMA PL POLAND All data on the release authorization refers to plant and part number! The plant is transmitted in record-type 512, field 03 as a 2-digit code. It is absolutely essential that in every kind of documentation or data transmission the plant code and the part number are indicated! 3.5 Releasing Analyst In field 512/12, neapco will transmit an identification number of the employee that released the transmission. This employee is responsible for the release and will be able to answer questions on it. Under certain circumstances, an identification of the analyst might not be available. In that case 512/12 will default to TEDR. 3.6 Commitment for fabrication and material authorization The release authorization for fabrication and raw material will be generated for each production part. For each part it is defined in the purchase order or vendor contract for how many weeks neapco will acknowledge the commitments. This information is also transmitted in record 515. May 2011 Page 4 of 14 VDA4905_V1-1.pdf

3.7 Part related data remarks Neapco might transfer plant-part number related data entered by the Material Control Analyst. For this purpose 20 positions are reserved in the remarks section, which will be transmitted from the 21 st position of the third text string (record type 518, field 05). 3.8 Plant / Supplier related remarks With these general remarks neapco draws attention to special plant related conditions, e.g.: "Receiving closed at..." "No delivery at..." "Plant shut-down from...to.. These remarks are transmitted in the second text-string (40 characters) and in the first 20 characters of the third text-string (record-type 518, field 04 and 05). 3.9 Over-/ Under delivery O/U quantities will not be transmitted in a separate field. Quantities will be accumulated in the first segment. 3.10 Quantity per load unit The "quantity per load unit" will be transmitted in record-type 517, field 05. 3.11 Data of the last delivery The Advice Note data, Advice Note Number, date, quantity, cum shipped (cum shipped calculated in Neapco s system) will be transmitted according to the VDAstandard within record-type 513, fields 03-07. Date, quantity, cum shipped refer to the latest recorded transaction at neapco; this may not always be the last receipt, as long as further material is still in transit. Attention: When Neapco s new ERP System goes live, data of the last received deliveries will not be migrated! This means that neapco might not be able to transmit this data in its first release(s) from the new system. In this case, the transmission will default to the following values: 513/03: 000101 513/04: 00000000 513/05: 000101 513/06: 0 May 2011 Page 5 of 14 VDA4905_V1-1.pdf

As soon as a first delivery comes in, neapco will start transmitting the correct values in 513. 3.12 Release Run For every part and every vendor neapco generates releases on a weekly base. All releases are sent straight from the Data Centre to the supplier. If there should have been a problem with the release or a mistake within it, another release might be transmitted before one week period. This corrected release will carry a pointer to the old release in field 511/05. The new release is to replace the old one. 3.13 Date Codes According to the releasing standard various "date-codes" are used: Date 000000 Identifies the last requirement field of a part number; the quantity field and all other fields remain blank. Date 222222 Identifies that for these parts there is currently no requirement or the requirement cannot be calculated electronically. Date 555555 Identifies that the following release fields contain release requirements, which are related to the period indicated in the release date. The release date can show up as YYWWWW Requirements of the period from week WW to week WW YYMM00 Requirements for month MM YY00WW Requirements for week WW Field 512/14 will always be "L" (time period according to release date) as neapco will always transmit dates for each requirement..
