These SAN fabric switches deliver the advanced Brocade functions, performance, manageability, scalability, and security required by the most demanding SANs. Integration of SAN switching capabilities reduces complexity and increases SAN manageability. This offering further leverages the leadership capabilities our Alliance Partners to provide customers the most technology choices. Fibre Channel Expansion Card (13N2203) This Fibre Channel Host Bus adapter contains a single FC controller supporting two independent ports, each capable of up to 2 Gb/s transmissions. This option replaces the current Fibre Channel Expansion Card option (48P7061). Intel Gigabit Ethernet Expansion Card (90P3777) The Intel Ethernet Expansion Card delivers an additional dual one Gigabit Ethernet NIC on the HS40 Blade. Used in conjunction with any of the Ethernet Switch Modules or Optical Pass-Through Module in I/O Module bays 3 and/or 4, additional Ethernet connections are enabled on the server blade.
