Badger Bytes Principal s Corner - Mr. Snow The staff of St. John Lutheran Church and School would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Please remember to keep Christ at the center of the season. We praise God for sending His Only Son into our world in human form to suffer in our place in order to redeem us from our sins. He was the best Christmas gift of all time. Share His message with others. We would like to thank Mr. Jason Wendt for his years of service as an aide in our 4K classroom. He has accepted a position with the Berlin High School food services department beginning in January. He has been a valuable team member on our staff. We wish him God s blessings and all the best in his new endeavor. 4K Mrs. Snow PS/K Miss Linse 1st/2nd Mrs. Fritsch We would like to say thank you and good-bye to Mr. Wendt for his three and a half years of service as our 4K aide. He will be moving on to a new position in the kitchen at the high school. We appreciate all that he has done for us. He will be greatly missed. Thank you to all the families who had their children participate in the Christmas program. The children did a wonderful job. We hope that you enjoyed it as well. We would also like to thank the parents that provided items and helped out with our Christmas party. We had a wonderful time. In 3K we had a fun Christmas party. We spent the last week talking about how santa, and presents are fun but the real meaning of Christmas is the birth of Jesus Christ our Savior. We are excited for our parents to open their Christmas presents. We will be learning a new snack prayer when we come back from Christmas break. It is to the tune of "Ice, Ice Baby" and it goes "Stop, Meditate and Listen God is back with a Son and a mission. His love grabs a hold of you tightly ever flowing day and nightly. Will it ever stop? NO! He gives more doesn't even matter if you are rich or poor. Grace, Grace Baby." I will take care of snack the first week back and send snack calendars home January 4th. In Kindergarten, we had a lot of fun participating in our school Christmas program. We had a blast at our Christmas party this afternoon. We finished the Superkids unit Tt and took a progress test Wednesday. We will also be learning the above mentioned snack and meal time prayer in January. Have a Merry Christmas! Our Christmas program went very well last Friday, and now that our schedule is back to normal (before Christmas, nothing is really normal), We learned about the birth of John the Baptist, Jesus cousin; we also heard again the beautiful story of Jesus birth. It really doesn t seem all That pretty to be born in a cattle stall, but God s plans are never man s plans. We look forward to celebrating His birthday, Saturday and Sunday. In math, both grades ended with an test in lesson 65. 2 nd grade is learning two digit adding with regrouping. More information about this in January. First grade is learning time to the o clock, and counting dimes and pennies. We have been spending a lot of time making gifts and doing fun art projects. Thank you to all the parents for bringing in the goodies for our Christmas Party! Have a merry Christmas and a happy new year. See you next year!
