KAROLINA ZDUNEK Karolina Zdunek / bio Born 1978 in Kielce, lives and works in Warsaw. Karolina Zdunek reads culture mainly in terms of architecture, but also one seen as background at which people hang around - lonely and lost inhabitants of multicultural cities. Her large-size paintings may be seen as vedutas showing modernism in deformed mirror of Polish socialism: never-ending rows of monotonous forms, windows, blocks of flats, masts is what socialist urban-planners made of the idea of garden-cities.
