Anthony Reddington REFUEL monitor your propane tank from your smartphone OVERVIEW Part of the Quirky + GE collection of products, Refuel is a smart propane tank gauge that connects to the Wink app on your mobile device. Use it to monitor your propane supply from afar, track tank usage, and get alerts when it s time to refuel. Its slick magnetic sensor also displays the gas level, so you ll always know when you re running low. REFUEL USER MANUAL V-O1 PAGE 1

GETTING STARTED 1 Download and launch the Wink app on your mobile device. 2 Use the provided screwdriver to open the sensor s battery compartment. Install batteries, leaving the compartment open. 3 Connect Refuel by following instructions on the Wink app. If the house icon is not blinking orange, reinstall the batteries to reset it. 4 Once connected, tighten screws to close the battery compartment then connect the sensor and base unit cords. 5 Carefully place propane tank on Refuel s base within your grill cabinet and attach its sensor to a temperature-neutral part of your grill. USING REFUEL 1 Once connected, use the Wink app to obtain Refuel status information. 2 Tap sensor to display propane level* when your mobile device isn t handy. A fully green gauge indicates a full** tank A fully red gauge indicates a near empty tank *Please be patient. Refuel takes a few seconds to measure to take tilt, vibrations, and swaying springs into account. **Measurement for full tank will be confirmed by user when putting a newly filled tank on the unit. REPLACING BATTERIES 1 You will get a notification on the Wink app when it s time to change to new batteries. 2 Use the provided screwdriver to open the sensor s battery compartment. 3 Replace batteries while verifying the + and indicators are aligned with corresponding symbols in the compartment. 4 Once batteries are properly installed, use provided screwdriver to secure compartment. TROUBLESHOOTING If a Wi-Fi connection is unavailable, Refuel will store the data and update the Wink app once the network is restored. If you do not receive push notifications on your mobile device as you have specified in the Wink app, please check that notifications are turned on for Wink app in your mobile device s notification settings. Batteries may leak harmful liquids or ignitable materials, or explode, causing injury and product damage. Do not mix old and new batteries or other battery types. Replace all batteries at the same time. Replace exhausted batteries immediately. Remove batteries if the product is unused for an extended period of time. Use the manufacturer recommended AA batteries. Safely dispose of batteries with your normal household waste. We urge you to recycle whenever possible. Use care to avoid dropping Refuel or subjecting it to severe impact, which could damage the product. Clean product with a damp soft cloth. When replacing batteries, use a dry soft cloth to clean the battery compartment. Installing batteries improperly may result in damage to Refuel s hardware. Store indoors when not grilling for extended periods of time. Keep unit free of dirt and debris. Do not allow the unit to be buried in snow. REFUEL USER MANUAL V-O1 PAGE 3

QUIRKY ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRODUCT WARRANTY Quirky, Inc. ( Quirky ) warrants to the original purchaser ( Purchaser ) of this Quirky product, for the period of one (1) year following the date on which Purchaser purchases the product, that the product shall be free of defects in design, assembly, material, or workmanship. Quirky will repair or replace, at its option, any defective product free of charge. In order to qualify for this warranty, the Purchaser must provide the defective product and a copy of the original receipt of purchase, to Quirky for inspection. The receipt of purchase must indicate the product purchased, price paid, date of purchase, and name of merchant.
