Roslyn, Ste 110 Denver, CO 80238 720-553-2710 Lee Bernhardt, PT, DPT Lee graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2007 with a B.A. degree in Integrative Physiology. He received his doctorate degree in Physical Therapy form the University of Colorado at Denver in 2013. Lee especially enjoys treating individuals with neurologic conditions, vestibular conditions, individuals with amputations, as well as treating and instructing one on one and group exercise aquatics. He is a certified Tai Chi Moving for Better Balance instructor as well as a certified Parkinson's Wellness and Recovery (PWR!) exercise instructor. When not at work, Lee enjoys teaching martial arts, hiking, drawing, and learning foreign languages. Matt Carlson, MSPT, OCS Matt has been a physical therapist since 2001. He graduated from Marquette University s school of physical therapy and has spent most of his career treating orthopedic disorders. Matt is dedicated to enhancing the progress of his patients via life-long learning. In 2007 he became a certified orthopedic manual therapist (COMT) credentialed by the Ola Grimsby Institute. The American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties also certified Matt as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2010. Matt especially enjoys treating pts with headaches, spine disorders, and chronic pain. When not in the clinic, Matt enjoys family time with his wife and children, running up and down the hills of Centennial, and playing the guitar. Christine Cedilotte, PT, DPT, MS, CLT Christine Cedilotte, PT, DPT, MS, CLT: Christine graduated in 2002 with a BS/MS in Physical Therapy and returned to Sage Graduate School, Troy, New York, and received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2005. Since 2002, Christine has worked as a physical therapist in various acute care, acute rehabilitation and outpatient treatment settings. She enjoys working at the Stapleton Physical Therapy Clinic with a variety of patient populations especially breast cancer, orthopedic, lymphedema, and neurological diagnoses. In March 2013 she became a certified lymphedema therapist. Christine enjoys traveling and being active outdoors especially skiing.
Davis, Nicole, Clinic Office Operations Lead Stephanie Glick, PT, DPT Stephanie has been with University of Colorado since June of 2015. She graduated from University of Colorado Denver School of Physical Therapy in 2015 with a background in treating people with orthopedic and neurological disorders. She competed in track and field and triathlons in college, and subsequently has a special interest in working with athletes as well. Although originally from the California Bay Area (go 49ers!), she has enjoyed getting to know Colorado for the past 3 years. She frequently spends her free time with friends and family, climbing mountains, backpacking, skiing, and going on new adventures. Anne Keil, PT, DPT SUPERVISOR Anne Keil has been a physical therapist since 1991. She graduated from California State University Fresno with both a BS in Community Health Science, and a BS in Physical Therapy and earned her DPT from Simmons College in Boston. Anne has earned certifications from Sole Supports in orthotic measurement, and in trigger point dry needling (level 2). Anne s expertise includes chronic pain, taping, dry needling, orthotics, and worker s compensation. Anne is also bilingual in Spanish. Anne currently serves as the supervisor of Stapleton Physical and Aquatic outpatient rehabilitation therapy clinic in Denver. In addition to Anne s clinical duties, she is a published author and researcher of various of health topics. She also teaches courses in taping.
Kristin Klein, PT, DPT, OCS, ATC Kristin grew up in Madison, Wisconsin. She became a certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) in 2001 through her undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, then graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin Madison in 2003. Kristin worked as a physical therapist in Madison, Wisconsin, where she specialized in sports medicine. She then moved to Chicago, Illinois before coming to Denver, Colorado in 2008. Kristin obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (DPT) in 2011 through Temple University, and she earned her certification as an Orthopedic Specialist (OCS) in 2013. Kristin enjoys seeing patients of all ages with a variety of orthopedic conditions, as well as athletic injuries. In her spare time, Kristin enjoys skiing, running, music, and dining, as well as spending time with her husband and two young children. Wendy Kriekels, PT, DPT, NCS Wendy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Minnesota, at Minneapolis, in 1991. She has worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient neurologic settings, in several states. She has extensive experience in treating individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury, Vestibular Disorders, Stroke, Parkinson Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Spinal Cord Injury, complex medical conditions, general pediatrics and geriatrics. Wendy relocated to Denver in 1999 and worked at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center for 7 years in acute and intensive care and earned her certification as a Neurologic Clinical Specialist in 2002 from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She began to teach in the Physical Therapy Program here at the University of Colorado in 2003. Wendy went on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2009. She worked at the Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion for nearly a year before transferring to the Stapleton clinic in 2010, where she continues to practice. She earned her recertification as a Neurologic Clinical Specialist in 2012 and continues to be a Senior Instructor on faculty in the Physical Therapy Program. Mariellen Kulik, PT Mariellen has worked in a variety of physical therapy settings including outpatient orthopedics, industrial PT, acute care, trauma centers, wellness centers and home health. She graduated from Rosaland Franklin University in Illinois in 1989. Her interests include outpatient orthopedics, manual therapy and is certified in trigger point dry needling. She uses a variety of treatment techniques to achieve success with her patients. Outside of the clinic, Mariellen enjoys hiking, camping, photography, and gardening.
Carrie Lamb, PT, DPT Dr. Carrie A. Lamb is a board-certified orthopedic physical therapist with over 15 years in practice. She works with a wide variety of orthopedic issues and enjoys treating athletes of all ages and abilities. Her current practice involves rehabilitation of spinal dysfunction, chronic pain and general musculoskeletal disorders. Carrie completed the Polestar Pilates comprehensive teacher training program in 2006 as well as Balanced Body s bridge program. In April of 2012 she became a Core Align Master Instructor. She collaborated on the development of a rehabilitation curriculum for the CoreAlign and is a local and international speaker. Carrie earned a Master s of Physical Therapy degree at CU in 2000 and transitional Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Regis in 2012. Since that time, her practice has taken her from Portland, OR to Aspen, CO, and back to Denver. Despite her love of movement education, her favorite job is that of wife, and mother to her three beautiful children. She enjoys running, cycling, hiking, skiing, gardening any opportunity there is to get outside with her family and enjoy all that Colorado has to offer. Mark Mañago, PT, DPT, NCS Mark Mañago, PT, DPT, NCS is a Board Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NCS). His clinical practice is focused on people with multiple sclerosis and other progressive neurologic disorders. He works closely with the Rocky Mountain Multiple Sclerosis Center and is a member of the multidisciplinary ALS clinic. In addition to his clinical practice, he is an instructor in the UC Denver Physical Therapy Program. He graduated from UC Denver PT school in 2005 and finished his doctoral training in 2007. Ryan McFadden, PT, DPT Ryan is originally from West Chester, Pennsylvania and earned a bachelor s in business in administration from Shippensburg University (2002) while playing soccer. After several years in the business field he decided to switch careers and in 2014 completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Regis University. He spent the first two years of his career working in outpatient orthopedics at Harborview Hospital in Seattle, which is a part of University of Washington Medicine, and in November of 2015 he returned to Denver and joined University of Colorado Health. His clinical practice is primarily focused on manual therapy designed to improve joint function, decrease pain, and improve quality of life. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and its orthopedic and geriatric practice sections. In his spare time, Ryan is an avid skier, rock climber, soccer player, and runner, and enjoys playing his guitar.
Emily Stone, PT, DPT, OCS Emily graduated from the University of Colorado with her doctorate in 2012. After working in a hospital setting and private practice outpatient orthopedics on the western slope of Colorado for two years, she returned to Denver and joined the team at University of Colorado at the Stapleton clinic. Emily is passionate about live long learning and remaining active in the profession of physical therapy including the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy (AAOMPT). She became board certified in orthopedics in 2015 and is currently a fellow-in-training in Regis University Orthopaedic Manual Therapy Fellowship program. Emily and her husband also enjoy exploring the outdoors of Colorado on the weekends including skiing, running, hiking and climbing. Erin Wicken, PT, DPT, OCS, CLT Erin Wicken graduated from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA in 2005 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is currently a Physical Therapist Specialist at UCH and holds several certifications. The American Physical Therapy Association recognized Erin as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2011. In addition to her orthopedic focus, Erin is also a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) and Cancer Exercise Specialist, providing care to individuals with cancer diagnoses as well. Furthermore, Erin is an APTA credentialed clinical instructor, and imparts her clinical expertise and knowledge base upon physical therapy students frequently. Erin very much enjoys yoga, skiing, running and spending time with her family.
