Suddenly, one room is your whole house. Below is a list of suggested items to bring with you to college. Be sure to get in touch with your roommate once you receive your housing letter in late July so you can get to know your roommate and plan for who is bringing what for your room. Please Remember: Closet and storage space is limited and may have to be shared with other students. High efficiency washers and dryers are available on campus in all residence halls. Cost of use is included in your residence hall room. Cooking appliances such as toasters, hot plates, popcorn poppers, and toaster ovens are permitted, but can be used only in designated kitchenette areas. University-owned microwaves are available in the residence halls for use by students. Practice or performance on musical instruments must not disturb other residents. The use of electronically amplified or percussion musical instruments is prohibited in rooms or common areas.
