Scenario 1 Contoso currently uses Small Business Server 2003 R2 for SharePoint, emails, backup, and Server 2003 R2 for Remote Access to LOB applications. They need a replacement. Contoso s Microsoft partner has recommended going with Office 365, Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials and Server 2012 R2 Standard with RDS to deliver the Exchange, SharePoint, and Remote Access support they had plus more.

Scenario 3 Litware currently have a full on premise environment consisting of a DC, file, LOB, exchange, backup, web and terminal servers. The company uses large file formats not suitable for SharePoint, and there are currently no plans to migrate the LOB application.
