Students progress in narrative story telling capabilities CREDIT BY EXAM (CBE) OPTIONS Students who are native speakers of languages other than English have the option to earn their required credits by successfully completing the CREDIT BY EXAM process. Two to three times a year, these exam opportunities are scheduled on a Saturday at one of the GISD campuses. Students complete an objective test as well as demonstrating their capabilities in reading, writing, and speaking. Students must be awarded an overall score of 70 or above to receive credit.
