1. INTRODUCTION In order to use the e-zaba business banking service with the USB Key Secure Browser device, your computer needs to meet the following requirements: Other hardware requirements Operating system USB port Windows 7 (32-bit, 64-bit) Windows 8 (32-bit, 64-bit) 2. STARTING THE APPLICATION Upon inserting the USB Key in an available USB port, your computer will automatically perform all required installations. After the message Device driver software installed successfully appears, you can continue using the USB device (Fig. 1). Fig. 1 Successful installation of the USB driver By inserting the USB Key in an available USB port on your computer, click on Start ASEBA Secure Browser to start the ASEBA Secure Browser application (Fig. 2). A window will open, as shown in Fig. 3. Fig. 3 Loading the application Upon completion of loading, the application icon will appear on the System Tray. Fig. 4 Application icon on the System Tray If the AutoPlay window fails to open (Fig. 2), you need to start the application directly from the USB Key. For the direct starting of the application from the USB Key, choose the option My Computer on your computer, and double click to select the icon Once the directory folder of the USB device opens, you can start the application by double clicking on the file SecureBrowserLauncher.exe located in the directory \Asseco\ASEBAPKISecureBrowserLauncher. 4
3. USER REGISTRATION If you do not have the e-zaba certificate saved on your USB Key, you need to complete the registration process. Upon inserting the USB Key in your computer, the page e-zaba User Registration will automatically open. In order to start the registration process, choose the option Start Registration in the main menu of the ASEBA Secure Browser application (Fig. 5). Click on The Unlock Code will appear to continue with the registration process. Fig. 9 Unlock Code OBLIGATORY: Write down the Unlock Code. You can write down or copy (save) the unlock code in a text file. After writing down/saving the unlock code, tick the and click on. A certificate retrieval window will open, as shown in Fig. 10. Fig. 10 Certificate retrieval Click on to retrieve the certificate. After a while, a window enabling the certificate saving will appear (Fig. 11). 7

4. DEVICE ADMINISTRATION For the USB Key Secure Browser device administartion use the ASEBA PKI Device Client application. Below given is a more detailed description of the most frequent activities: Device search and device information, Certificate information, Device unlocking and Change of PIN (user password). The main menu of the ASEBA Secure Browser application is opened by right clicking on the icon on the System Tray (Fig.4). 4.1. SEARCHING THE DEVICE The main menu window will display information on the USB Key Secure Browser device connected to your computer. If you do not see the information on the USB Key, please check if the USB Key is connected to the computer and then choose the Device search option. Within the Device search menu you can find: information on the device and information on certificates. In order to see the information on the USB Key, click to select the device, after which a window as shown in Fig. 15 will open. Fig. 15 Information on the device The following information will be displayed: device serial number, device model, device name, device category (not applicable), device manufacturer, reader name (when smartcard is used), reader identifier total device memory and available device memory. By clicking on the Certificates option, a window with the list of certificates saved on the selected USB Key will appear (Fig. 16). 10
Fig. 16 Certificate information The following information will be displayed: Certificate serial number Issued by information on the certificate issuer Subject information on the certificate holder Certificate validity (Valid from and Valid to). By clicking on the Details option, a window with more detailed information on certificates will open (Fig. 17). 11
Fig. 17 Detailed information on certificates 4.2. UNLOCKING THE USB KEY If you have entered an incorrect PIN for five (5) times in a row, the USB Key will automatically lock. When attempting to register to the USB Key, the message shown in Fig. 18 will appear. Fig. 18 USB Key locked In order to unlock the USB Key, open the USB Key administration application. Choose the My Computer option on your computer, right click to select the icon 12
and then choose Open to enter the directory folder on your USB Key. Once the directory folder opens, you can start the application by double clicking on the file ASEBAPKIDeviceClient.exe located in the directory \Asseco\ASEBAPKIDeviceClient. Mark your device by clicking on it in the main menu of the application (Fig. 19) and select the option Unlock the device, after which a window as shown in Fig. 20 will open. Fig. 19 Select USB Key Fig. 20 Unlock USB Key In the field Current administrator password enter the unlock code you received in the course of initial (first) registration. Enter the new PIN in the field New user password. The minimal PIN length is 6 characters. For additional security, when selecting a PIN we recommend you to use a combination of numbers, upper and lower case letters, and special symbols (e.g.!, #, $, %). The new PIN that you have entered in the New user password field should also be entered in the Repeat new user password field. Click on OK to finish the procedure of unlocking your USB device. If you have unlocked your USB device successfully, the message shown in Fig. 21 will appear. 13
Fig. 21 USB Key unlocking completed successfully The problems with unlocking may have occurred if you have failed to enter the correct unlock code into the Current administrator password field (Fig. 22) or your new PIN into the New user password and the Repeat new user password fields (Fig. 23). 4.3. CHANGING PIN In the main menu select Password change, after which a window as shown in Fig. 24 will appear. Fig. 24 PIN change window You can change your user password (PIN) and your administrator password (unlock code). By selecting User password you initiate the process of changing the PIN you use when log-on your USB Key. Enter your current PIN in the Current user password field. The minimal PIN length is 6 characters. For additional security, when selecting a PIN we recommend you to use a combination of numbers, upper and lower case letters, and special symbols (e.g.!, #, $, %). The new PIN that you have entered in the New user password field should also be entered in the Repeat user password field. Click on OK to finish the PIN change procedure. If you have failed to enter your new PIN properly, the message shown in Fig. 26 will appear. Fig. 26 Change of PIN failed By clicking on Administrator password you will start the process of changing the unlock code provided to you upon your initial (first) registration (Fig. 27). Fig. 27 Changing the unlock code Enter the unlock code provided to you upon your initial (first) registration in the Current administrator password field. Enter your new unlock code in the New administrator password and Repeat the administrator password fields. The unlock code should have at least 6 characters. For additional security, when selecting an unlock code we recommend you to use a combination of numbers, upper and lower case letters, and special symbols (e.g.!, #, $, %). Click on OK to finish the unlock code change procedure. If you have changed your unlock code successfully, the message shown in Fig. 28 will appear. 16
