Battery Charger The instrument is normally already charged when you receive it; however, it is recommended that you charge the batteries before each use. Insert the charger inside the compartment of the laser level or turn it on through the battery pack. On the charger there will appear three charging modes: Blinking red light - battery not charged Red light - battery charging Green light - battery charged Once the battery is charged, a green light will appear on the instrument. It normally takes 7 hours to charge the device and once charged gives a use of 20 hours. 5

Instructions Angular mode: press to enter values x and y Keyboard values positive on slope: change the direction of rotation Keyboard values negative on slope: change the direction of rotation Introduction of the values for x and y Rotation speed: 0-120-300-600 Scanning mode: By pressing you can obtain working angles with a line of: 0-10-45-180-0 On/off Manual mode Leveling alarm system activation: Activate once the instrument is leveled 6

Instructions Horizontal leveling mode Press the on key to turn on the instrument. The level will automatically self-level. The level has a range of self-levelling of 5 degrees. Activate the alarm key. Once self-levelled the level will start to rotate. Slope Mode The FRE207 level allows you to work with slope values of up to 8% for axes x and y. Once the level is self-levelled in horizontal mode, press the G key. The key to enter the value for x will start to blink. Use the keys + (more) or (less) to enter the slope. In the direction x press the key x/y to introduce the value in y. Use the keys + (more) or (less) to enter the slope in y. Press the x/y key again to confirm the slope data introduced. After a few seconds, the level will search for the values introduced. Vertical lines mode Once the instrument is positioned in horizontal mode, it will automatically level itself. It will project two plumb points and a vertical line. Other functions Scanning mode This mode is used mainly for interior jobs. The beam is centred on a specific area. The beam projects a line that works with the options of 10º, 45º, 90º y 180º. Remote control The remote control allows you to work via radio at a distance of 80 metres. The keys that the remote control has have the same functions as the details on the display. To make it easier it is better to use the remote control to avoid moving the keyboard. Important: Do not charge alkaline batteries as this could cause serious damage to the instrument 7

Detector The detector has a sensor in the window that allows it to detect the beam when it is in rotation mode. The detector has three functions: a) On/off button b) Three volume tones: sound off-low-high c) Accuracy sensibility. You are able to obtain greater or lesser accuracy via this function When the detector is too high in relation to the laser level a low sound will be emitted, when too low a fast sound, and when it is at the same level a continuous sound will be emitted and will signal the centre of alignment with the laser level. The detector is powered by a 9v battery. 8

Specifications Accuracy: +- 2 mm 30 m. Slope range: 10º Self-levelling range: 5º Type of laser: diode laser visible 635 nm Class: Class 2 m Measuring range: 500 m. with detector Rotation speed: 60,120, 300, 600 revolutions per minute Scanning angle: 10º,45º,90º,180º Remote control: operational up to 20 metres Power supply: dc 4.8-6v ( battery ni-mh) replaceable battery pack (ni-mh) or alkaline battery pack Battery life: 20 hours of continuous work Damp and dust protection: ip54 Dimensions: 160l x 160w x 185h Weight: 3 kg (sin baterías) 9

Safety Precautions Avoid direct eye exposure to the laser beam over a prolonged period. The laser has a diode and powers that are not harmful to eyesight. Place the instrument above eye level. Do not try to repair the instrument yourself, contact the technical service team for any problems. When you mount the laser on the tripod make sure that it is securely fastened with the tripod screws and that the legs of the tripod are stable. The instrument should not be used or stored at temperatures of over 50 degrees. Always store the instrument in its carry case when not in use to avoid potential damage. Avoid sudden changes of temperature. The instrument must be acclimatized before use 10
