3. Age Limit: As Mentioned above on 1 st Jan. 2014. (01.01.2014). Age relaxation as per the rules of Punjab Government. Relaxation in upper age for SC/BC, candidates is 5 years and for Physically Handicapped is 10 years and for candidates of Ex- Servicemen category, the age relaxation will be as follows:- For recruitment to any vacancy in the State Civil Services whether reserved or not under these rule an Ex- Servicemen shall be allowed to deduct the period of his service in the Armed Forces of the Union from his actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for direct appointment to such vacancy in the concerned Service rules, by more than 3 years, he shall be deemed to satisfy the condition regarding age limit." 4. Methods of Recruitment Written test of 100 Marks shall be held and based upon the marks obtained in the test, merit list shall be prepared for all categories except Staff Nurses and ANM. Selection shall be made purely on the basis of written test only. For Staff Nurses (Female):- The written test shall be of 90 Marks. In addition, there shall be a Skill test of 10 marks, which shall be conducted of only such shortlisted candidates in order of merit in the written test as the department may decide and the final selection shall be made on the basis of combined merit of written test and skill test. For ANM (Female):- The written test shall be of 90 Marks. Only those candidates who have passed Punjabi subject in Matriculation standard are eligible to apply. After depositing requisite fee in the Bank Account of the University, a Unique Transaction ID will be issued by the concerned bank, which is required to be entered in the application form. Fee shall not be accepted in any other mode i.e. Cash, Cheque, Demand Draft etc. 3. A unique password and registration no. will be sent to you through email and SMS while downloading the fee challan. Please keep secret this password which will secure your application and mandatory for further process. 4. Merely deposition of fee will not entitle the candidate for claim of Recruitment Test.
