arena design by Maria Berntsen The well-known designer Maria Berntsen has created a new collection of oven-to-table stoneware serving dishes, bowls, and pitcher. The new collection is called Arena and it consists of 11 different pieces in 6 different colours. The designer took her inspiration for the collection's shape and colours from the sandy beaches of Scandinavia. Asymmetrical shapes mix with round and squared elements with rounded corners, as if they had been gently worn away by time and the sea. The colours are delicate: dusty green, blue, light grey, turquoise, beige and sand. Each piece comes in its own colour, so you can compose your very own symphony of colours for your table. The shape and colours meld together to create a unique and inspirational experience for the user. The designer chose stoneware for its ability to resist thermal shock. design by Erik Bagger tips Cutlery rust spots on your cutlery eb harmony cutlery from erik bagger a/s is made from stainless steel. However, rust spots may occur if the cutlery does not receive the correct treatment and handling. Rust spots can occur if stainless steel cutlery is washed with items not made of stainless steel - or which are already rusted. So check your garlic press and especially the cheese cutter - one of the worst offenders. Rust spots can also be found when unwashed cutlery has stood for too long coated with food particles containing vinegar, citric or lactic acids, or salt, which corrodes the surface of the cutlery. So always remember to rinse your cutlery before washing up. Glass disease 2 year guarantee against glass disease. Glass disease appears as a white line on the glass. The line emerges as the result of tiny holes and degradations in the glass that cannot be seen with the naked eye. Glass disease often appears after a piece has been washed a number of times in the dishwasher. Once it appears, the milky white colour cannot be removed. In the unlikely event that your erik bagger products develop glass disease, you can return them to us and naturally we will exchange them for you. We offer a 2-year guarantee against glass disease for all of our glass products. It is important to use the right amount of dishwasher salt, dishwasher detergent and rinse aid. It is also important to wash your glasses using the correct dishwasher temperature.
