When it comes to contactless read technologies, there are active and passive transponders. The widely-used passive RFID technology, which is also the one that we deploy, does not require any energy supply but draws the power it needs from the high-frequency signal emitted by a reader device. As opposed to the active transponders therefore, passive transponders do not require any battery. In order to initialise our readers and also to programme the offline components for our pkt system, we offer a range of card sets that are detailed in this catalogue.
