Welcome to the Tao Healing Method Learn how to heal yourself and others with the ancient wisdom and techniques of the Tao Healing Method. Healing in its ultimate sense comes from discovering and getting connected to the Tao within. The Tao Healing Method will provide you with tools to help access your true natural healing power within and focuses on the whole person body, mind and soul. Tao exists everywhere, from inside the smallest particles to the span of the entire universe. It is the force of order and change underlying all existence and all phenomena. Becoming one with Tao has been the ideal of life for everyone, and learning to live with it has been regarded as the key to health and happiness. The Tao Healing Method was established through the principles and practice of the Korean tradition of Tao known as Sun-Tao ( 仙道 ). It is based on the understanding that we, as humans, are manifestations of the ultimate life energy (Ki, chi, qi, Life Particles) in diverse forms. Through deep understanding of Ki-energy as the ultimate oneness of the universe, the Tao Healing Method helps you to regain your sense of oneness and heal yourself, which extends to your family and friends, creating health, happiness and peace in your personal life and community. Establishing Habits of Self-Healing The Tao Healing Method helps you to develop good habits and to establish a routine that will become a solid foundation for lasting health and self-healing. Healing in Every Moment: Walking, Eating, Breathing, Sleeping For six days, you will learn to do everything in mindfulness: walking, eating, breathing, and sleeping. All of these, when done mindfully, awaken the power to heal. By walking in nature, you will receive fresh energy for self-healing. Through mindful eating, you can learn how you are connected to other life forms in the big circle of life. Natural, deep, slow breathing is the beginning of the natural healing processes. By learning how to empty your body and mind before sleeping, you will learn to recognize sleep as one of Mother Nature s most powerful healing gifts. Self-Healing Fundamentals This session is designed to impart some basic knowledge of self-healing, such as the structure and functions of parts of the human body and its energy system. The information will help you to have more confidence in your intuition and abilities. Tao Healing Principles The Tao Healing Method focuses on an individual s physical or mental health first, and eventually it also affects the health of the collective consciousness. This course is designed to familiarize participants with the broad scope of healing starting with individuals, expanding to communities and ultimately restoring the health of the entire planet. You will learn and practice the general principles of meditation. This will help you to become more aware of your energy body, and better able to direct your mind s activities with a sharper focus and a deeper sense of the mind-body connection. Outdoor Healing Practice Within the Sedona Mago Retreat Center property and its vicinity there are 12 harmonious energy vortexes which have synergetic effects upon each other. Through outdoor training and nature walks, you will learn to receive energy from nature and to internalize it for selfhealing. Ancient Scripture of Tao The study of an ancient scripture of Tao known as Chun-Bu-Kyung, will give you a deeper understanding of the meaning of life and you will learn to utilize it for your spiritual self-healing. This 81-character scripture of Tao contains the true essence of the Eastern tradition of enlightenment and wisdom. 3

Healing Through Tao Yoga Practicing Tao Yoga puts your cardiovascular, digestive and nervous system in working order and gives you endurance, vitality and emotional balance while enhancing your intuition and spiritual nature. It also helps you develop and strengthen your body s energy system and balance your hormones. Basic Self-Healing Practice You will be taught basic techniques and skills of self-healing that can be useful for yourself and others. With reverence for the sacredness of the body, this training illuminates the essential principles of healing through experiential learning and practice. Good Posture for Self-Healing Your posture directly affects your health and emotions, whether you are standing, sitting, lying or walking. When you practice correct posture, your body is in alignment. This can alleviate the pain associated with back, neck or shoulder problems and the discomfort associated with respiratory and digestive issues. Since your posture can make a difference in overall tension and fatigue, it can help to improve your mood and mental clarity. Maintaining good posture is a simple, yet very important element of a healthy mind and body. Intestinal Healing When your intestines are healthy, you can protect yourself from disease and will feel happier, more confident and peaceful. Intestinal health improves your brain function and fortifies your immune system. Brain Wave Vibration Healing Our brain controls our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual activities. Brain Wave Vibration Healing is a simple yet powerful tool to manage your brain condition, strengthen your core and heal your body, mind and spirit. Self-Healing Through Breathing Breathing is taken for granted. We don t usually pay attention to it, but it s the master key to all vital functions and emotions. By improving the quality of your breathing you will gain countless health benefits. Energy Healing Everything is made of energy and it is constantly changing, which provides you with the opportunity to recreate yourself in each and every moment. Changing your energy is the most effective way of creating change in your life. Healing through energy is a gentle yet powerful approach. Tao Ceremony 4

At Sedona Mago Retreat Center, we offer various ceremonies to celebrate and consecrate major life events such as births and weddings and to help people find deeper spiritual meaning in those events. We will offer a Tao ceremony for all participants to celebrate the completion of the healing program. This very special event will magnify and solidify the awakenings gained over the last five days and help you to maintain the benefits when returning to your daily routine. 21 Day Post-Training In order to continue your journey of self-healing when you return to your daily life, we will provide you with 21 days of post-training. Using our forum, we will have regularly scheduled sessions and provide you with guidelines for your continued practice. 5
