Analyte(s) Matrix Spike (MS) Analyses ALS MS recoveries were within the laboratory recovery control limits. No MS recoveries were performed on Envirolab batch. Laboratory Duplicates (LD) Analyses ALS and Envirolab laboratory duplicate RPDs were within laboratory control limits. Analyte(s) Primary ID Duplicate ID SW046_04/03/15 QC100_04/03/15 SW053_04/03/15 QC101_04/03/15 SW064_04/03/15 QC102_04/03/15 Field Duplicates (FD) Analyses RPD for Carbon Tetrachloride (38.8%) exceeds LOR-based control limits. other FD RPDs were within the accepted LOR based control limits. FD RPDs were within the accepted LOR based control limits. FD RPDs were within the accepted LOR based control limits. Field Triplicates (FT) Analyses Analyte(s) Primary ID Triplicate ID SW046_04/03/15 QC200_04/03/15 FD RPDs were within the accepted LOR based control limits. SW064_04/03/15 QC202_04/03/15 FD RPDs were within the accepted LOR based control limits. Sample ID RPD for Carbon Tetrachloride (38.8%) in the field duplicate analysis of samples SW046_04/0315/QC100_04/03/15 exceeded LOR-based control limits. This result is not considered to affect the characterisation of the sample as both the primary and duplicate results are within the same order of magnitude and the RPD for the primary and triplicate sample results report an acceptable RPDs. This batch has been validated and is considered suitable for environmental interpretive use. Surrogate Compound Monitoring Analyses surrogates were within the accepted laboratory control limits. Overall As stated by ALS: Particular samples required dilution due to the presence of high level contaminants. LOR values have been adjusted accordingly. Low recoveries of some analytes in the LCS test is not expected to significantly affect the quality of the batch data as the exceedance from acceptable criteria was marginal, and all matrix spike results completed for those analytes on the project samples were within acceptable limits. In addition, the reported analytical results for Carbon Tetrachloride and 1.1.1.1-Tetrachloroethane are consistent with historical results whilst cis-1.4-dichloro-2-butene and Dibromochloromethane are not considered contaminants of interest for the project. Note: Data validation assesses each analyte in terms of all the data validation variables and only the exceedances and outliers are reported in this form. *When concentrations are less than the LOR for both primary and duplicate/triplicate results, no RPDs are calculated Performed By: LA Reviewed By: Fabiana Quinton Date: 8/04/2015 Date: 8/04/2015
