Leading the greening of Sign & Display printing Printing with the environment in mind is more than good practice, it s good business. HP is committed to helping our Sign & Display customers reduce the environmental impact of their wide-format printing and reduce their costs without compromising results. Digital on-demand printing can reduce waste Analog technologies - like screen-printing - generate significant waste during set-up processes. In addition, their economics favor printing long runs of identical signs. This increases the likelihood that a high proportion of the signs printed will be discarded without being used. HP Scitex industrial presses are more cost-effective, require no screens, and have no make-ready waste. These presses can also produce short runs of signs with variable data which can lead to more efficient sign sourcing and a reduction in the number of redundant prints prevalent in applications such as point of sale signage. Printing with a better environmental profile HP FB225 color Scitex inks are GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certified SM9 and meet AgBB criteria. 10 HP Latex Inks offer performance comparable to eco-solvent and low-solvent inks, without the associated environmental considerations.
