With TireJect you are using 75% less sealant which means you no longer have to tote and store a 5 gallon pail. With TireJect roughly 1.25 Gallons = 5 Gallon pail of our competitors tire sealant. This is why we do not offer larger pail container sizes, it s simply not needed. How long does TireJect tire repair sealant stay liquid inside my tire? 12 18 months depending on temperature/climate of your location. After this time period TireJect Tire Repair Sealant will have formed a thin rubber like film that is evenly adhered around the inside of the tire. This rubber like film is harmless to the tire and after 12-18 months will no longer be active. You can easily repair another flat or add more TireJect Tire Repair Sealant proactively to prevent flats. For proactive flat prevention we typically recommend re-dosing your tires with 2-4oz every 18-24 months to keep fresh active Tire Repair Sealant in your tires. Will TireJect Tire Repair Sealant damage my rim and tire? Your tire and rim are safe with TireJect. Since our tire repair sealant is formulated with liquid rubber it will dry out into a thin film evenly adhered around the inside of your tire after 24 months. This rubber like film is harmless to your tire and rim.
