It is the broadest access to electronic patient data at UCH. Includes all data from Clinical Workstation, which goes back to 1995, includes data from Touchworks, most department systems (see below), all dictations, lab, rad, path. ALSO has EKG images, and lists of problems, meds, allergies from Care Manager, Touchworks, Perioperative, Oncology, Emergency. It also allows the ability to make a personalized patient list, and access is available wherever you have access to a web browser. *On-campus, http://hub.uch.edu: for Clinicians, MedXplore *Off-campus, www.uch.edu : for Employees, MedXplore Clinical Workstation: view-only like MedXplore, available only on-campus, NO EKG, NO problems, meds, allergy lists. Horizon Physician Portal: Inpatient system for physicians to view all nursing and inpatient ancillary service charting including vital signs, nursing notes, ancillary service notes, medications. Includes data from most other department systems including lab, radiology with its own PACS viewer, micro. Includes the housewide physician signouts, ability to print rounding reports and meds lists for patients transferred within the hospital. Care Manager: inpatient system for nursing and pharmacy. Nursing documentation, vital signs, I/O, ICU monitor data, administered medications, lab and rad results, order management (no order entry). For physicians; printable MD Progress Notes, Med Recon Transfer Report Patient Portal: patient online tools; includes My Doctors Office (online communication between patient-clinic), My Medical Record (patient access to test results), CEO-email (patient satisfaction surveys), Visit reminders (for upcoming visits), Advance Check-in (completing forms prior to visits). www.uch.edu/myhealthconnection Radiology Images on PACS: Picture ArChiving System. Available at PACS workstations (hiresolution dual monitor setup) in limited locations and also on all PC s through the start menu or AppsWeb2 on Favorites. Touchworks: outpatient interactive system deployed in 23 of 40 clinics including all of primary care, as of June 2008. Outpatient clinic notes, e-prescriptions, orders, referrals, test result management. All notes also viewable in MedXplore, Clinical Workstation. Departmental systems: Emergency: Picis (residents have view-only access). Peri-op: OR Centricity for pre-, intra-, and post-operative documentation. GI procedures: Provalent, Cardiovascular procedures: Lumedx. Oncology: IMPAC (chemotherapy orders). Transplant clinic documentation database. OB/Gyn: Obix (labor deck, well-baby nursery). Psychiatry: CRIS. Departmental System reports not available in MedXplore: OR and peri-operative, OB/GYN, Psych Dictation: Quicksign. For Admission History/Physicals, Discharge summaries, Operative reports, Clinic notes for clinics not on Touchworks. Residents dictate into telephone, attendings edit and sign reports in Quicksign. All residents should have access to: MedXplore/Clinical Workstation, Physician Portal/Care Manager, PACS, Single Sign-on, Dictation line.
