US07 solid square edge board uses composite screws, while all other grooved boards use decking clips systems (hidden fasteners). Note UltraShield decking boards are 360 degree wrapped, which gives Ultra protection against moisture, mold & mildew. UltraShield is proud to introduce the T Clip & UltraLock Systems. These systems feature two unique clips, one locks and secures the board down (Locking Clip ) and the other allows for expansion and contraction to take place readily (CEC Clip ). So that you don t experience warping or distortion of any kind after installation. The system works because it allows the user to control the direction in which the expansion and contraction will take place.
