2016 Ohio South Entry Level Referee On-Line Exam Instructions: Answer the questions that follow, according to the Laws of the Game, and to the instructions given in the current edition of the USSF publication, Guide to Procedures for Referees, Assistant Referees and Fourth Officials, which can be downloaded from the www.ussoccer.com website. 1. Goals MUST be anchored securely to the ground. If they cannot be secured, the game must NOT be played. 2 Corner flags must be safe therefore, to prevent an injury, the minimum height of the corner flag-posts must be at least 5 feet tall. If the corner flags are not safe, the game must NOT be played. 3. A foul committed on the penalty area line is considered to be a foul committed inside the penalty area. 4.
