Carpet Tile and method to recycle the tile WO2015104393 2015-07-16 Applicant(s): DSM The invention pertains to a carpet tile which is a laminate of a first sheet having yarns fastened thereto, the first sheet having a first surface and a second surface, the yarns extending from the first surface, a second sheet and an intermediate layer between the second surface of the first sheet and the second sheet, wherein the intermediate layer is resilient to allow local deformation of this layer along the second surface of the first sheet or along the surface of the second sheet adjacent to the intermediate layer, and the weight of the carpet tile is below 4.0 kg/m2. The invention also pertains to a method to produce such a carpet tile and to a method to recycle such a carpet tile.

Honeycomb structure made of a non-woven made of recycled carbon fibers US2016076179 2016-03-17 Applicant(s): AIRBUS A honeycomb structure comprising carbon-fiber non-woven, sandwich structure comprising the said honeycomb structure, and process for the production of the said honeycomb structure.

Reformable resin fibers WO2016065104 2016-04-28 Applicant(s): Zephyros The present invention contemplates a method for forming a reformable epoxy resin material into a fiber format and: (i) weaving the reformable epoxy resin material (10) with a reinforcing fiber (12) to form a woven material; (ii) stitching a secondary material (14) with reformable epoxy resin material; and optionally (iii) forming a web or mesh with the reformable epoxy resin material.

Recyclable shoe insole S2015359295 2015-12-17 Applicant(s): TIETEX INTERNATIONAL A Strobel Insole of fully recyclable stitch-bonded fabric for use in construction of a shoe using the California Slip Last construction method. The stitch-bonded fabric is substantially 100% polyester stitched with two different yarns in different patterns. One side of the stitch-bonded fabric is subject to abrasion to break filaments of a relatively low denier stitching yarn to yield a soft brushed surface. A method of insole fabric production is also provided

Recycling process WO2016012755 2016-01-28 Applicant(s): WORN AGAIN The invention relates to a process for extracting polyester from packaging. In particular, the invention relates to packaging comprising one or more dyes such as black packaging. The claim process uses a two stage extraction process to convert waste polyester in clean, reusable polyester. The invention relates to a process for extracting polyester from fabric. In particular, fabric comprising polyester and one or more dyes. The claimed process uses a multistage mechanism to separate dyes from polyester containing garments and reconstitute the polyester.

A Partition screen system and method of making the screen WO2015112080 2015-07-30 Applicant(s): EDSBYVERKEN A method of making a sound-absorbing screen (1), comprising: a)preparing two panels (2, 3) of felt material (21, 31), preferably comprising fibers including recycled textile fibers, bi-component fibers and polyester fibers; b)placing a first of the two panels (2, 3) in a press; c)placinga framework (4) onto said first panel (2, 3), d) placing the other one of the panels (2, 3), onto the other panel (2, 3), to sandwich said framework (4) and/or inserts between the panels (2, 3); and e)compressing the formed sandwich to the panels (2, 3) to one another to form a unit (1) by means of a bonding film (100).

Environmentally friendly non-bleed polyester fabric EP2845931 2015-03-11 Applicant(s): WINDS ENTERPRISES A method of manufacturing a polyester fabric with inherent color, the method including: providing a polyester fiber with inherent color; spinning polyester yarn from the fiber with inherent color; knitting the colored polyester yarn into knitted fabric which can combine with other yarn according to a requirement; washing the colored polyester fabric and heat-setting the fabrics with add-on functional finish to the fabric. The providing of polyester fiber with inherent color may include: cleaning and drying polyester bottles; recycling polyester chips from clean bottles; mixing chips with pigment evenly and melting the chips with pigment; extruding the filament fiber with color; and drawing and cutting filament fiber into staple fiber. Further aspects of the present invention are directed to a colored polyester fabric and a method of manufacturing an article of clothing using a colored polyester fabric produced using the above-described method.

Method for recycling plastic products WO2015097104 2015-07-02 Applicant(s): CARBIOS The invention relates to a method for recycling at least one plastic product, the method comprising depolymerizing at least one polymer of said plastic product to monomers by exposing the plastic product to a depolymerase under conditions favoring binding of said depolymerase to said plastic product. The method of the invention may be used for degrading, simultaneously or sequentially at least two different polymers of the plastic product, and/or for recycling at least two plastic products
