WHAT DO CHILDREN NEED? Children need love and this is spelled TIME not convenient. Children need role models that can show them how to maneuver life. Children need a routine that is predictable. Children need repetition.this is how they learn! Children need adults who can get right down on the floor with them, twist and wiggle, smile and laugh, tie their shoes ( then teach them how to do it), and encourage them by patiently demonstrating over and over. Children need to see adults that are reading so they will understand that reading is more important than television, computers, DVD s and cell phones! Children need a haven that is safe and secure.it does not have to be filled with designer furniture or the latest electronics! Children need YOU! Gwcl page 8 www.janekitson.com
