The evaluation of the suitability of its exp loitation and utilization is a significant and one of basic conditions of constituting p lanning of urban underground space. This paper, considering the multi2fountainhead and comp lexity of influencing factors of underground space exp loitation and utilization, based on the data of geotechnical engineering investigation, adop ting the analytical hierarchy p rocess (AHP) and expert questionnaire survey method with selecting a mathematic model of multi2targets linear weighted function method, an evaluation model of zoning of the suitability of one city s underground space exp loitation and utilization is set up, and the final evaluation figure of the suitability with A rcgis is gained, for the purpose of p roviding theoretic basis for the p lanning of underground space.
