From 1 November 2012 a new tyre labelling obligation throughout the EU applies to tyres. This obligates dealers to place a label directly on the tyre which gives information about three product characteristics in a standardised form: Fuel efficiency in 6 classes Wet grip in 5 classes External rolling noise in decibels (db).
