Gantt Chart The proposed project work will begin on January 16 th with a goal of completion set for May 7 th. The work has been laid out as M-F with 4 hours of work per day. Several tasks over lap in both days and phases. This was done to maximize efficiency. The overall phase breakdown can be seen in the figure below. Time to Completion Documentation Fabrication Testing HW Implementation Design Research 0 10 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 90 Figure 1: DFBCS Gantt Chart The research phase will consist of component identification and selection. Also each feature will be researched thoroughly to see if its application in our design for a classic car is feasible. Each of these tasks shown will require the elaboration of the problem, then with the decision for our solution.

During this phase we will layout our complete system. Several tasks take place on the same set of days, this is due to their research being closely related, but the multi-tasking will be watched closely.

It is based heavily on the procurement of items and testing/implementing them on a breadboard for both proof of concept and testing before fabrication. This timeline can be seen in the figure below. This phase has the greatest potential for delaying our project since it depends heavily on awaiting ordered components.

It will primarily consist of testing the design with a car and making sure it behaves as it should. Also each component will be tested during construction to allow for less major problems during the overall phase. This timetable can be seen in the figure below.
