After the first coat sometimes I see shrinking. Should I be worried? A. It s perfectly normal for certain deep colors to shrink on their first layer. Don t worry. Just flash cure first and second layer. Keep in mind that with deep dark colors, you may need a third coat. Q32. What is a flash cure? A. It s a process of holding the gel in place so that it prevents from shrinking. Flash curing doesn t cure fully. It is only to hold the color in place to prevent from shrinking.

The LED light will hold or freeze the gel from shrinking and moving. B. Move on to the next finger (ring finger) and apply gel quickly and cure for 2-3 seconds. Repeat on the next finger nail (middle finger) and so forth. C. When you reach the last finger nail (thumb), no need to flash cure. Put all nails in for a full 30 second cure. D. Remember that the flashed cured nails for 2-3 seconds don t cure the nails. It merely holds the color from shrinking until the actual full curing takes place. E. Repeat on the second layer to make certain that the color is even and if needed for a third coat, then apply gels and cure normally. NO need to repeat flash curing process on the third layer. Q34.
