Proposal Create an automated platform where users can integrate their own ideas, test equipment and process, into a simple format for automated testing The Ubiquitous Server Application, allows users to quickly create their own applications using their existing programming skills that can control EM ISight or third party equipment
Create & Control
Purpose APREL have designed a means for application engineers to quickly integrate external hardware into theem EM ISight platform Through the Ubiquitous Server Application (USA) the application engineer can open up multiple test cases and processes all controlled by themselves USA allows an applications engineer to write their own User Application (UA) quickly and easily using LabVIEW, Vee, C#, Visual Studio etc,,, UA can control third party equipment and allow the applications engineer to created automated test routines around EM ISight EM ISight can operate as a slave through the USA thus allowing UA to access test data for unique analysis Applications engineers can create any type of test profile via their UA, this opens up the scope of testing to which h EM ISight ihcan be applied, from susceptibility, to radiated spurious emissions to quality control
Operation Mode Program language LabVIEW, C++, C#, Vee, MATLab etc UA can control EM ISight EM ISight data can be exported UA can control multiple sockets through TCP/IP
Radiated Emissions EM ISight USA UA Spectrum Analyzer Pulse Generator Signal Generator DUT Device Control
Susceptibility Testing EM ISight USA UA Signal Generator Pulse Generator Spectrum Analyzer DUT Device Control
Features Simple solutions to create unique test profiles which utilize the full suite of EM ISight automation features Create User Applications which can be customized in real time and controlled by the end user Use any programming language Create profiles around USA libraries Export measurement data logs for use in third party applications e.g. MATLAB Use EM ISight in slave mode Ability to control robotics system using existing APREL libraries Control multiple instruments over a socket using TCP/IP commands
Closing the Loop Working with partners in simulation, test equipment along with users, closing the loop between theory, simulations and physical quantifications is needed. Closing the loop allows for expedited development of complex solutions for both consumer and industrial applications. APREL are working with NEC to create a common interface between EM ISight and NEC EMIStream. APREL have a strong background in creating solutions which can be validated through simulations.
Features Utilize driver database from National Instruments Integrate any third party test equipment on TCP/IP Define novel test routines which can be controlled via any number of User Applications Define control routines for test subjects which are assessed on EM ISight Integrate EM ISight into quality or production line environments Use EM ISight for an automated platform to conduct tedious manual operations USA allows the user to have complete lt control over all test applications Remove dependency and software legacy issues
