A budget has been made available for the Programme, intended for infrastructure works and intelligent transport systems. For the period 2007-2013 a proposal was being prepared for the new TEN-T Programme. This Programme had to undergo an ex-ante evaluation. One of the way in which visitor can be attracted, is the by promotion, such as advertising in newspapers, outdoor advertising, websites, and brochures. In this master thesis a decision model was developed that can be used to decide which promotion instruments to apply. The decision model was used to answer the question which promotional instruments are (most) suited to attract (more) visitors to Dutch inner cities. Clients: Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, BRO Vught
