Janet Primary Nameserver Service Free to Janet Primary connected organisations Provides a good basic DNS service and easy and quick to setup Self service administration web portal or full support from Janet Manage multiple domains from one account Largest account currently hosting 160 domains Ability to use portal from most network connected devices. Can t access your network and need to change a record... Not suitable for Dynamic DNS requirements

DNS Services Backup Master Free to all Janet Primary connected organisations Allows you to continue updating your DNS records when your locally hosted Primary DNS server fails Using the Web Admin portal - Run Janet NS as a slave (ensure regular zone transfers from your Primary) - If local DNS services are not available logon to the Janet Backup Master and toggle the JBM into Master mode - Perform functions such as redirecting web traffic to an alternative site... - End of incident toggle back into Slave mode and start advertising your normal zone. The Janet NS don t push back to your Primary, won t have to undo emergency changes
