Composite Doors Composite Doors take their name from the composite materials that make up the inside of the door. There are slight variations available, but most high quality composite doors comprise of a timber hardwood sub-frame that houses the composite material. The doors are typically hung in a UPVC steel reinforced frame. The standard thickness for a Composite door slab is 44mm, almost twice the thickness of a UPVC panel. Many customers have indicated that after replacing a UPVC front door with a Composite there were notable reductions in heat loss, and noise from outside was greatly reduced. This unusual aspect makes the external design of Victorian conservatories attractive, and is one of the most popular types. The Victorian conservatory is suitable for the majority of property styles.
Conservatories EDWARDIAN CONSERVATORY The Classic design of Edwardian conservatories allows the greatest use of light and space. The ridged roof of a Edwardian conservatory system ensures perfect symmetry of design. Edwardian conservatories have a flat front and a square/rectangular shape meaning there is no wasted space when setting out your furniture and plants.

Conservatories DOUBLE HIPPED VICTORIAN CONSERVATORY The double hipped Victorian is different from a standard Victorian roof, the roof is a pitched style (usually at around 25 degrees from the horizontal). This means that it slopes upwards from it s sides meeting at a central ridge height. In addition to a standard Victorian style roof, at the rear it is also pitched, which is also known as rear hipped or hipped back onto a box gutter. The Victorian hipped style works well with smaller gardens as space maybe an issue. The round edges can offer a nice access route, if space is limited.
