COURSES FOR TRANSFER ASSOCIATE OF SCIENCE DEGREE PROGRAMS

Transcription:

Midland University - Transfer Policy College credits that are completed at an institution accredited by one of the regional accrediting associations (North Central, New England, Middle States, Northwest, Southern or Western) may be applied toward a degree at Midland University provided the transfer course(s) correspond reasonably to those offered at Midland. Here are other guidelines for transferring credit: Minimum grade of C- or above* Courses over 100 level Maximum of 72 credit hours from community or junior college Credits from a four-year institution are not limited; however, the last 32 out of 40 credit hours must be completed at Midland University Students with an Associate of Applied Arts Degree typically do NOT need to complete Midland s general education core. However, all students are required to have their official transcript reviewed by the Office of the Registrar for final approval. Programs such as Respiratory Therapy and Nursing will review credits on an individual bases to determine transferability. Acceptance of credit from unaccredited institutions cannot be assured, although exceptions are made in the case of certain special purpose institutions such as Bible colleges accredited by the American Association of Bible Colleges, and nursing schools accredited by the National League for Nursing. *Credits earned on the P/NC grading scale will not be transferrable.
