General Product Information Cubic Zirconia or CZ Our AAA rated Cubic Zirconia gemstones are hand cut and polished manmade diamond simulants. They have the same clarity and brilliance as a high-grade diamond. They are optically flawless and usually colourless, but may be made in a variety of different colours. On Moh s hardness scale of 1-10 our cubic zirconia are rated 8.4 where a natural diamond is rated as 10 (the hardest substance known to man). Ionised Gold plating (IP Plating) on Stainless Steel The plating technique used in Stainless Steel production is very different from the Electro-Plating process used in Gold and Silver jewellery. The plating process used for our Stainless Steel jewellery is called Ionised Plating (IP) which is the most advanced surface finishing processes in the world today. Ion plating makes the plating more durable, more wear resistant, and also has a much higher brightness. It will not chip, tarnish or fade and is an environmentally friendly process. It is a very exciting development for all of us in the jewellery world and means that we now have the highest quality plated jewellery in the world today and is available at a fraction of the cost compared to real Gold jewellery. Sterling Silver Sterling Silver (Ag) is a soft white lustrous transition metal. It has long been valued as a precious metal and used in making ornaments and jewellery, as well as utensils (hence the term silverware). Sterling Silver is an alloy of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. Sterling Silver is harder than pure silver. All our Sterling Silver products are marked with 925 in accordance with the law which means that 925 parts per thousand are pure silver. It is 2.5 on Moh s scale which is slightly harder than pure gold. Stainless Steel Stainless Steel jewellery set with diamonds or cubic zirconia s is one of the fastest growing trends in Europe. The obvious major advantage of using Stainless Steel is that it is a very hard and durable metal which means it will stay looking at its best for a very long time.

Stainless steel is a perfect alloy for replating as the 18ct Gold, or the Silver lasts for a very long time. Stainless steel is however limited in the styles that we are able to offer. Micro Pave Setting Thanks to the increased precision made possible by new technology we can now include these magnificent settings into our range. In fact this is so new we are probably the first company in Australia to be offering this type of jewellery. The easiest way to describe Micro Pave is a setting style that uses extremely small round stones set by hand under a microscope into a design that has perfectly formed tiny little prongs. The end result is just stunning. Not even our photos can do justice to how good it really is. Shell Pearls The new collection of shell pearls is called Luminescent which encapsulates the illuminating effect of white pearls. They have a beautiful natural pearl colour. The reason they look so good is because they are made from the exact same materials as the very expensive Cultured Pearl The material used in the Shell Pearl is a solid natural mother of Pearl bead which is then coated in natural sea shells and polished. It is often difficult to tell the difference between a shell pearl and a cultured pearl. Cultured pearls are very expensive as they are naturally produced by the oyster they are uneven in size, colour and often have small flaws. The shell pearl in comparison is able to be produced in regular and even sizes and is available in a variety of colours resulting in beautiful pearl jewellery at affordable prices. Natural Gemstones Chalcedony Variety of Quartz With a hardness of 6.5 on the Moh s scale this variety of mineral quartz is found in myriad colours and is collectively referred to as Chalcedony. Often Chalcedony is known by its popular names rather than this name. The main varieties of chalcedony are Agate - Has curved or angular bands or layers Jasper General variety term applied to semitransparent to opaque chalcedony of any colour or combination of colours, except solid black or specially labelled material such as Black Onyx. Chalcedony is found in almost all colours and due to its porous nature, it can be dyed into any preferred colour. Most coloured semiprecious stones are

The striped beauty of the agate is unparalleled in the world of gemstones. Cross sections of agate often reveal stunningly beautiful band formations, and while most stones have tree-like rings, come exhibit a scallop pattern, eyes, and in rare cases even a landscape with trees. The variety of colours in agate is astounding with some of the most common ones being blue agate, which has a light blue colour, while the moss agate is dark green showing clear patches.
