ENTRIES AND NOMINATIONS / REGISTRATION Entries of Teams, nominated Judges and Team Managers/Leaders may be made only by the Member concerned on the designated Official Forms. (Rule 115, paragraph 2) All Entries have to be sent by e-mail to the Organizing Committee of the BUDAPEST CUP 2016: Preliminary Entries indicating participation of the ISU Member (or Club), have to be submitted not later than, 1 st November 2015 (Preliminary Entry Form.), Final Entries with the name of selected Team and Judge, must be submitted not later than 1 st December 2015. (Form 1.)(Please enclose team photo no coaches included.) The registration for Referees, Technical Specialists, Technical Controller, Judges, Teams, Accredited Coaches and Team Managers/Leaders will take place at Tüskecsarnok Sports Complex: Thursday 25 th February, 2016 from 08:00 to 18:00. All registered skaters have to enclose a copy of their passport when they sign in. GENERAL RULES The BUDAPEST CUP 2016 will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution, ISU General Regulations 2014 and Special Regulations & Technical Rules for Synchronized Skating 2014 as well as all pertinent ISU Communications (2014-2015), including ISU Communications 1942 (well balanced programm) The teams must belong to an ISU Member (Rule 109), the ages must fall within the limits specified in Rule 108 paragraph 4. All skaters must qualify with regard to eligibility according to Rule 102 and participation and citizenship requirements according to Rule 109. The final results will be determined according to Rules 843 and the ISU Special Regulations & Technical Rules Synchronized Skating 2014. TECHNICAL AND JUDGES PANEL In accordance with Rule 963, paragraph 3, each participating ISU Member may nominate one (1) Judge for international competitions, listed on the ISU List of Referees and Judges for Synchronized Skating 2015/2016. For the Novice and Interclub Event the organizer will accept national judges as well. The Referees, Technical Specialists, Technical Controllers, Data and Replay Operators will be nominated by the Organizing Committee and choosen from the ISU list for Synchronized Skating 2015/2016. The Organizer will cover the travel expenses only for invited Referees, Technical Specialists, Technical Controllers, Data and Replay Operators. Ordered flight tickets should be based on economy airfare. The Organizer will provide ground transportation for invited Technical Panel, the Referees and nominated Judges. The expenses (room and meals) for invited Technical Panel, the Referees and nominated Judges will be borne by the Organizer starting with lunch Thursday 25 th February 2016 till breakfast Sunday 28 th February 2016, for the European Judges, and from dinner, Thursday 25 th February 2016 to lunch Sunday 28 th February 2016 for the non-european Judges. Spouses and other persons accompanying teams are not included. All other expenses shall be the responsibility of each official. The Draw for the Panel of Judges will be made at the Judges Meeting, which will be held on Thursday, 25 th February 2016, at 19:00 at the Tüskecsarnok Sports Complex. The Judges Round Table Discussion will be held on Saturday, 27 th February 2016 after the competition at the Tüskecsarnok Sports Complex. TECHNICAL RULES Budapest Cup 2016 will be run in accordance with appropriate ISU Rules for Seniors and Juniors, as well as all pertinent ISU Communications, including ISU Communication 1942 (2015-2016). The following should be noted: Teams may enter more than one category using different music and a different program, with a minimum 50% change in skaters. At least 80% of those actually performing the programme in the event must meet the age category while 20% or less may be outside the age criteria of the category. If the team comprises of 12, 13 or 14 skaters 2 skaters with no age restrictions are allowed. 15 or 16 skaters 3 skaters with no age restrictions are allowed. 7/16

PLANNED PROGRAM CONTENT SHEET Deadline for Content Sheet (Rule 834) is 1 st December 2015. It is mandatory that the Content Sheet is filled in precisely by each team in English using the terminology for the elements listed in the Scale of Value Table published in ISU Special Regulations & Technical Rules for Synchronized Skating 2014 as well as in all pertinent ISU communications. The Planned Content Sheet has to be signed by a coach or Team Representative. MUSIC All teams shall provide their competition music of excellent quality, on CD in accordance with Rule 823. The team must submit two (2) copies for each program at the time of registration. All CD s must be properly inserted in their original container and be clearly identified with the name of the team, the category (junior/senior/novice), the type of program (short program/free skating) and must show the exact running time of the music (not skating time). Please see Form 4. In addition music can be sent by email to the info@sysbudapestcup.com. Each email message should only contain one music file in mp3 format - or file link. The subject of the email and THE NAME OF MP3 FILE SHOULD BE: Team name_competition program (Short or Free )_Category name. For example: SynchroBudapest_FP_Juvenile.mp3 Teams are encouraged to take advantage of submitting their competition music in advance. TEAM PHOTO In order to prepare the event program, we are requesting you to submit one team photo by e-mail at info@sysbudapestcup.com for inclusion in the program book and the website. OPENING CEREMONY The Opening Ceremony will be held at Tüskecsarnok Sports Complex on Friday, 26 th February 2016. No skaters from compeeting teams will take part in this ceremony on ice. 9/16

Web: http://tuskecsarnok.hu/ The intermediate draw will also take place at the Tüskecsarnok - Sports Complex immediately after the end of the Short. EXTRA PRACTICE ICE The official practice will start on Friday, 26 th February 2016. Each team will be allowed a 10 minute period of official practice ice for the Short and a 12 minute period for the Free Skating in the ISU categories, 10 minutes for the Free skating program in the interclub competitions, free of charge. No extra practice ice will be available after the Official Draw. For extra practice ice Wednesday, 24 th February 2016, and Thursday, 25 th February 2016 see enclosed Form 6. Extra Practice Ice costs 40 for a session. One session is 10 minutes long. The time is restricted in the Ice Hall. All requests will be reviewed accordingly to the ice rinks availability and in order of incoming Extra Practice Ice Forms to the Organizing Committee of Budapest Cup 2015. Extra practice ice must be paid in cash ( ) upon registration. For additional extra practice ice in other days, preceding the competition, and for further information please do not hesitate to contact the Organizing Committee by email at info@sysbudapestcup.com. SKATERS PARTY The Competitors party will be held on Saturday, 27 th February 2016 at 22:00. AWARDS Trophies will be awarded to the winning team in each category. Medals will be awarded to the top three placed teams in each category. Every participant team will receive a certificate. Every competitor will receive a souvenir medal. 10/16
TICKETS Each team participating will be provided with 6 free passes - Team Manager, Coach, Assistant Coach, Medical Person, two (2) Team Service Personnel and one (1) for Team Leader - per participating ISU Member. CITIZENSHIP / RESIDENCE REQUIREMENTS In accordance with ISU Rule 109, all skaters who do not have the nationality of the Member by which they have been entered or who, although having such nationality, have in the past represented another Member, must have an ISU Clearance Certificate. LIABILITY In accordance with ISU Rule 119, Hungarian National Skating Federation and the Organizing Committee accepts no liability for injury or damage sustained by competitors or officials at the competition. The Organizing Committee will not be providing participant insurance coverage for the event. Each Member is expected to provide its own insurance protection. The Organizing Committee will provide emergency medical services for all participants during the competition and official practice. "Vis major event" means an event or circumstance which, despite its reasonable effort, and without its fault or negligence, renders the Organizing Committee unable to fulfil its obligations as set out in the Announcement of Budapest Cup 2016 and includes the following: Civil commotion, riot, invasion, war threat or preparation for war and other hostilities; fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural physical disaster; strikes, lock-outs and other industrial action; impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport; political interference with the normal operations of any Party; and embargo, restrictions or requirements or other acts by any government or other lawful authority. In the event of a vis major event occurring, the Organizing Committee of Budapest Cup 2016 has the right to cancell the venue Whilst the Organizing Committee undertakes to make every effort to continue the competition if a vis major event happens as soon as possible, no warranties are made in this regard and no refund of tuition fees will be made. 11/16
MEDICAL INFORMATION Each team manager should be able to give important medical information for each skater for use in case of an emergency or accident. Such information should include but is not limited to the following, and will greatly help local medical and emergency personnel: allergies, existing medical conditions (i.e. asthma), current medications, immunizations, blood type, use of glasses, contact lenses, dental appliances. PUBLICITY WAIVER Each individual and/or team, waive any and all rights to financial remuneration or other compensation for the use or reproduction of their image or likeness, or that of their synchronized skating team, and grant permission to use same, as or in publicity prior to, during or following the Budapest Cup 2016, in Budapest. TRANSPORTATION Teams arriving in Hungary by coach will be independent (parking place at the Ice-rink). Shuttle buses can be ordered by day or by need of transportation (for example: Airport Hotel or Hotel - Ice-rink).
