For best results, we recommend a business class Internet service. You will also need to be appointed with Travelers in order to see rating results. Real-time Rating Adding Travelers Quantum With the release of the Travelers Quantum program for California Homeowner, the previous Travelers markets have been removed. To begin, add the new Travelers Quantum program to your list of markets. From the Main View, click on the Setup Wizard button in the lower right hand corner. Figure 1: FSC Rater Main View In the Setup Wizard, click on the Homeowner button. This will launch the list of markets available to be rated in the rater. Press the T key on your keyboard to jump down in the list to the markets beginning with T. Scroll down until the Travelers Quantum RT market is visible and then select the checkbox. Page 3 of 7
Figure 2: FSC Rater Homeowner Market Selection Next, click on the Commissions tab. Scroll down to the Travelers Quantum RT market. Once there, enter your Travelers producer code under the Agent Code heading. If a valid producer code is not entered, you will be unable to obtain a rate for the Travelers Quantum market. If you are unsure of your Producer Code, contact Travelers agent support at (800) 243-1334. Figure 3: Homeowner Commission Tab Click OK to return to the Setup Wizard. Then, click Cancel to return to FSC Rater. Page 4 of 7
Screen Changes Certain data elements are required by Travelers to return a real-time rate that you may not be used to entering. As a result, FSC Rater presents the information, such as Last Name, with a different color to denote the fields that are required to obtain a real-time rate. Figure 4: Enhanced Client Information View Not Rated If required fields for Travelers rating are not completed, the Travelers Quantum RT market will appear in the Not Rated window as shown below. Figure 5: FSC Rater Not Rated Window Travelers Quantum program is a real-time market and it may take a few moments for the rate to return. Until complete, the program will be displayed in the Not Rated section as shown below. Page 5 of 7
Figure 6: Not Rated Window - Waiting for Rates Rating Results The rating results view will automatically re-sort the list and display the results when available. The Travelers market displays just as any other market does, but includes the indicator in the RT column to distinguish it from other markets. Figure 7: Rating Results View Bridging As with other markets, bridging is also available. To send the quote to Travelers, select Travelers and click the bridge button in the main toolbar. Page 6 of 7
