Police Executive Role in the 21st Century Module Topics Module I: Leading the Organization Organizational Communication Executive Responsibilities Module II: Strategic Approaches to Investigations Policing Models Emergent Technology Module III: Human Resource Issues Legal Issues for Law Enforcement Managers and Executives Course Work Participants will complete work individually and in groups. Assignments will include review of articles and case studies, a solution-focused project and a comprehensive review of literature on an issue related to their organization. Who Should Attend Admission to the program is limited to full-time command, management, and executive employees of public law enforcement agencies. Part V Statement of Commitment Terms and Conditions This executive course is an intensive educational program requiring a significant commitment of time away from your agency and the completion of assignments. Please read, initial and sign the following: APPLICANT INITIALS REQUIRED FOR EACH ITEM I understand that entrance to the PER21C is competitive and the submission of this application does not constitute enrollment. I understand that I must be prepared to complete upper-division (junior, senior and graduate level) university coursework. I agree to abide by the ILETSB Executive Institute code of honor, ethics and professional behavior. I agree to complete all work assignments and projects assigned for the PER21C course within the required time frames. All written projects will be the result of my own independent research. I agree that, if I do not make regular progress I may be suspended or removed from this program. I understand that if selected to attend the PER21C, I will be required to attend three traditional classroom instructional modules, participate in web-based instructional modules, complete assigned readings, and prepare a Review of Literature.
