Adaptors We have electrical appliance adaptors available at Reception to borrow or to buy. The deposit will automatically be charged to your room and refunded on return of the adaptor. Hotel Electricity supply is 220/240 v Deposit is 5 Purchase is 10 Airport The best way to the airport is by taxi (ask Reception to order one 24 hours ahead) Or by Airport Express bus No. 12 or 21, leaving from Luxembourg Square every 30 minutes (ask at reception for a timetable) First bus is around 0500 and the last around 1930. Tickets are (approx) 4 purchased before or 6 purchased on the bus Time to airport is 25 to 45 minutes Air conditioning Each room has its own air-conditioning and thermostat, which can be used for heating and cooling the rooms. Please keep the temperature between 18 and 22 degrees centigrade. If you are unsure how to turn the unit on or off, please ask Reception to help Bathrooms Each room has a hairdryer. There are more powerful replacements available from Housekeeping/Reception Reception has a small supply of toothbrushes and toothpaste and other assorted toiletries Should you require more shower gel, shampoo etc or more towels please ask Reception/Housekeeping Breakfast Breakfast is buffet style on the Orangerie/Terrace on the ground floor between 0700-1000 Monday to Friday and 0730-1030 Saturday to Sunday
Check out Check out is by 1200 midday latest. Late check-out can be arranged with Reception (please ask the day before your due departure). Please make sure you check the parking regulations from a machine on the same side of the street that you have parked There are other indoor public & private parkings available in the vicinity DO NOT leave anything in your car when parking on the street Pillows There are 2 pillows on each bed and 2 more in each wardrobe.
Safe Every room has a safe, found in the wardrobe. Instructions are written on each safe. If you prefer to leave valuables in the safe at Reception please speak with the Reception Manager Safety and Security The Leopold Hotel Brussels EU and Brussels in general is a safe and secure place. However, there are always dishonest people prepared to take things that do not belong to them. Please keep property locked in your safe, do not leave any possessions unattended in public areas Reception, breakfast room etc Smoking The entire hotel is NON-SMOKING. Please do not smoke anywhere inside the hotel. We reserve the right to post-charge your credit card for extra cleaning if you have smoked in your room Taxis Taxis can be difficult to find between 0800 1000 and 1600 2000. Please ask Reception to order your taxi at least 12 hours in advance. Unfortunately we cannot control the taxis companies they can arrive late. There is also a public taxi rank 2 minutes from the hotel turn right and walk to Luxembourg Square Tea & coffee Tea and coffee is available at breakfast (included in your booking) and at the brasserie/bar. Should you wish we can supply a kettle and cups please call Reception and it will be made available Telephones There is a direct dial telephone in your room. Charges are.75 cents per minute (and part thereof) For another room dial 4 and then the room number For an outside line dial 0 and then the country code. So for the UK 0 0044 and then the number you want missing out the first 0
Televisions The TV in your room works with a remote control. Please do not try to change settings or open the battery cover. If there is a problem with the remote control or the TV contact Reception There are international and local channels available free of charge see separate list. Tourist information In the lobby and at Reception there are a number of leaflets on things to do and see in and around Brussels. There is a free city map available from Reception Buses 95 and 38 leave from in front of the hotel and terminate near Grand Place. Cost of a ticket on the bus is around 2.50 The nearest Metro is Trone/Troon (turn left out of the hotel and wak for 150m) Umbrellas We have umbrellas available at Reception to borrow or to buy (in the unlikely event that it rains!).
