2 Hymn: Bring Many Names VU 268 Invitation: One: Today is Father s Day! A day to honour our families Embracing young and old, blood relations and heart relations, and church family relations One: We celebrate fathers And honour the spouses that make men into families One: We celebrate fathers And honour the children that make men into fathers One: Ordinary men and ordinary families bound together with extraordinary love and generosity But in families parents pattern their lives after Jesus caring for the smallest and most vulnerable among us. One: Ordinary as they may seem we celebrate the place of men in our lives, in our homes and in our church family And we say thank you for their place of love and care, nurturing and loving as Jesus taught us all to be. (Based on a resource by Daryl Webber Ebenezer P.C., Campbellville, Ont. Gathering Pentecost I, 2013 p. 29) Welcome

Your spirit is seen in the inquisitive child, to urge us to ask the simple yet profound questions. Your spirit is seen in a busy parent, to remind us of your care and our responsibility. This sale will take place on the sidewalk in front of our Church facing the bandshell. Our goal is to sell assorted hardcover and softcover books, CD's, DVD's, and vinyl records. Our current inventory is practically nothing so we would like you to start bringing in items and leave them in the Narthex in the boxes provided. We are looking specifically for fiction novels and cookbooks as these have been traditionally our best sellers - not magazines, non-fiction or Reader's Digest items.
