This is why, for its video surveillance products, Elvox proposes three technological levels: analogue, HD-SDI (High Definition Serial Digital Interface), IP. So that every customer can choose the technology that best meets their expectations and the features of their system. With the certainty of using technological products that are the top in their class, which can be incorporated into the Vimar By-me home automation system. Analogue technology. This is the simplest choice, particularly for residential or small-scale video surveillance systems. It combines good video signal transmission with a high resolution image. HD-SDI technology. Serial digital interface to carry video signals. At the highest TV resolution available today. An HD-SDI system is installed like a common analogue system, it doesn t even require configuration skills or data network sizing. Simple and effective, installed just like an analogue system. IP technology. Generates a digitalised video signal in a format ready for direct transmission on the data networks. Without the need for analogue-digital conversion. The most advanced form of video surveillance technology, with excellent image resolution. High resolution. Analogue cameras record a resolution of up to 700 TV lines and algorithms for improving the image; faces are recognized at up to 6-8 metres from the lens. Products. The integration with the Vimar By-me home automation system in the analogue range allows playback (also in HD) and, in the case of specific references, also checking and controlling the functions. The HD-SDI range, Analogue in Full HD. From simple installation to video resolution: clear, immediate advantages An HD-SDI system offers many advantages: the greatest one is the high resolution that can be achieved, 1920x1080 pixels, comparable to the maximum achieved today for television systems. Another advantage is the ease of installation, using a classical coaxial cable for video transmission, the same cable as analogue systems, combined with zero latency times and progressive image scanning. 8
Cameras. A wide range of cameras with HD-SDI technology: high sensitivity (2 Megapixel Sony sensor), with advanced record functions (Smart IR, WDR, Motion Frame), highly compact Minidome and all with Full HD resolution. Videorecorder. All recorders (4, 8, 16 channels) are in Full HD Real Time (25 fps per channel), to guarantee excellent vision, without losing any detail and with the best in video fluidity. And they also have the same graphic interface as analogue DVRs, for simple, easy and immediate use. Facilitated installation. Installing an HD-SDI system is very easy, you don t need to programme the IP addresses and you don t need a data infrastructure. Installed without the use of a computer. 9
The IP range. From centralisation to remote accessibility, precision has never been so complete. The ideal choice for business areas, it can also be suited for home environments that require resolution of the highest quality: the IP range includes Megapixel cameras of the latest generation. The video transmitted with H264 compression ensures optimization both in terms of disk space when recording and as data traffic over the network. This type of system takes advantage of an existing or specially created network infrastructure. 10
High filming quality. A vision that spares no details, even in bad weather and at night: the Megapixel technology provides resolutions up to 2 Mpx. Wiring and Power Over Ethernet. How to build a tailored system. A fast, user-friendly outline to guide you in choosing the ideal system, taking into account four key features: area, needs, location and product.
