Product enhancements and functional changes This following table describes product enhancements and functional changes for MiVoice Conference/Video Phone Release 2.1 SP5. Product area Description The 2.1 SP5 release introduces support for the import of contacts from CSV files exported from the MiVoice Business and MiVoice Office 250 platforms. Contacts The import does not support UTF8. Refer to the Contacts Settings section of the MiVoice Conference/Video Phone Administration Guide for additional details. Camera Support This release supports the Panasonic WV-SPN311 camera and newer firmware for the other supported cameras. Refer to the Ethernet Camera Firmware section of the MiVoice Conference/Video Phone Administration Guide for details. The Smart Office application has been replaced with the new OfficeWrx TM application. Applications OfficeWrx TM offers the same built-in MS Office document reader and editor that supports multiple file transfer methods, including LAN access to Google Docs TM, USB Flash Drive or Micro SD Card. OfficeWrx TM does not support Box TM or Dropbox TM. 16-5185-00116_1 1

Essential installation and upgrade information for MiVoice Conference/Video Phone Release 2.1 SP5 The following section includes a description of the requirements for application and client software, PBX integration details, an installation and upgrade checklist, product part numbers and system logging recommendations. Application and Client Requirements You must meet the minimum software level requirements for each application and client listed below so that the applications and clients will function correctly with this Release. For more information, refer to the following SIP CoE Knowledge Base articles available on Mitel On-Line: SIP Reference Guide 08-5159-00014_x provides a complete list of devices with which the MiVoice Conference/Video Phone interoperates. SIP Configuration Guides provide reconfiguration recommendations and feature limitations for the MiVoice Conference/Video Phone, Mitel MiVB, third party SIP servers and SIP end Units. NOTE: Refer to the MiVoice Conference/Video Phone Engineering Guidelines for additional information, including network deployment recommendations. 16-5185-00116_1 3

Installation and Upgrade Checklist It is recommended that a network assessment of a customer environment be conducted before deploying MiVoice Conference/Video Phones. Contact Mitel Professional Services for arrangements. NOTE: The MiVoice Conference/Video Phones are shipped pre-installed from the factory. A firmware upgrade to the MiVoice Conference/Video Phone GA released load must be completed before deploying the units. Refer to Mitel OnLine for the most current release of the MiVoice Conference/Video Phone firmware and to the MiVoice Conference/Video Phone Administration Guide for upgrade instructions. The following table outlines a check list that must be followed as part of the MiVoice Conference/Video Phone installation or upgrade procedure. Check Component Complete network assessment of customer environment. Have a micro SD card, USB key and/or HTTP server running in customer environment. Ensure you have the MiVoice Conference/Video Phone GA released firmware files: uc360_2.1.5.3.zip Action if required Refer to MiVoice Conference/Video Phone Engineering Guidelines. Contact Mitel Professional Service. If upgrading from 1.0 release, purchase micro SD card or configure HTTP server. NOTE: USB upgrades are not supported until release 2.0. Only FAT formatted USB drives are supported. Visit MOL to download the required files. NOTE: The upgrade.xml file is load specific to the load and must be downloaded along with the ZIP file. upgrade.xml For video deployment, ensure the camera is one of the supported brands and models. Ensure that the camera is running the supported firmware load. Create the required ONVIF user. Once MiVoice Conference/Video Phones are upgraded and configured to work in the customer environment, make a backup of all devices. Refer to the MiVoice Conference/Video Phone Administration Guide for more information on ONVIF users. Refer to the MiVoice Conference/Video Phone Administration Guide for more information. The IPA server address can be configured in the System Settings ~ Network Settings ~ Modify static ~ IPA Server. The IPA Server address can also be obtained from a DHCP tag if configured on the MiVB. Debug Logging Debug logging is enabled by default. Under System Settings ~ Debug Setting ~ Debugging and Kernel Messages will be enabled, and the Logging Level will be set to Warning. It is recommended that these debug settings be enabled. If required, an administrator can adjust these debug settings as needed for the customer environment. 16-5185-00116_1 5
